Isn't he already 23/24!? Doesn't really fit with that policy

22, plus already has a pretty successful season long loan at Notts County couple of years back, so still young enough for one for the future, but slightly ahead of the other scots there, but not a first team regular to start with.

Callum McGregor is a poor footballer. He scored a couple of incredibly flukey goals for Celtic in Europe, that's all he's got going for him.

The sad truth that the naive ones on here refuse to accept is that King, Fulton and Kingsley were signed by Swansea as a favour to an agent(s). Happens all the time nowadays.

They have hardly played for Swansea at all since they went down there and are currently out on loan to no hope clubs in the English third tier. Sometimes the truth is hard to accept.

There is more chance of Bela Lugosi coming back from the dead than Callum McGregor going to Swansea.

Fulton has started games in the EPL though!?

Four games.

He's on loan at 21st placed Oldham Athletic just now.

I wish some guys on here would stop getting excited about young Scots just because they happen to be signed to a Premier League team.

Not getting excited about him - Just stating the clear fact that you're talking pish

Don't think its naive to think that young Scottish players can get a chance at a club like Swansea (we are hardly talking about them breaking into the Chelsea, Arsenal, Man United, Man City first teams.....) and nothing wrong with them going out on loan for a while to get first team experience (Craig Gordon was shipped out to Cowdenbeath just a couple of seasons before establishing himself as our No1 keeper....McGregor was punted from club to club as a kid before establishing himself at Rangers..... Dorrans went to the Jags IIRC...Johnny Russell was at Forfar for a while....etc) so nothing wrong with players going on loan to a English 2/3rd tier club when we have members of our Squad who have went on loan to a much lower level here in Scotland.

Maybe they will make it, maybe they will not.....

Mate from Wales is a Swansea season ticket holder and he raves about Fulton and King.

Face reality, they ain't going to make it. They were signed as a favour to an agent or agents who had probably done Swansea a favour in the past, so Swansea did a favour for him by buying a couple of cheap young players they represent.

Happens all the time these days.

Kingsley 21 and no first team appearances.

King aged 20 and one first team appearance, out on loan to an awful Crewe team.

Fulton aged 21 and out on loan to a mediocre Oldham team.

Isn't it funny how you always claim to know a season ticket holder at almost every team down south who always happens to highly rate some obscure young Scot who inevitably gets released at the end of the season and ends up playing college soccer in the USA within 18 months ?

Now tell us about some Scot in Northampton or Barnet's youth teams who's going to be the next Kenny Dalglish.

Sad.

Any proof of these agent claims or even a link or source?

Like.................? Can not think of many

You might call it nieve to say they will make it, while other will call it faith/hope that they will make it, and if they don't then no harm done.........

Can any Everton insiders give us info about Naisy.Seems to be way down thepecking order atm.January move?

Not inside information as such, but Naismith's contract is really long. It expires in the summer of 2019.

That'll put the price up and put off potential buyers.

Im pretty sure Swansea's Scottish influence is due to John McMaster being their chief scout North of the border, he has recommended all of these players to them (and also the reason my team Morton have the boy Samuel on loan this season from them)

To say its a "favour" for an agent and happens all the time is just the voice of a cabbage speaking.

Inclined to agree. If the OP has any information to back up his claims then let's hear it.
