Parklife
Could someone try sky go and bt sports for me and see if they download and start? I'm away to order one of these boxes if they do If you ask droidsticks on twitter, they'll tell you.
OLAS
Sky Go doesn't work as Sky don't allow HDMI out. You can't mirror the screen with it either. BT Sports does work, but you need to have a good enough SmartDNS/VPN or actually be in the UK for the stream to work. Some Smart DNS providers cater for this You can seriously get rid of Sky Go & BT Sports though. Install AceStream & SopCast then the Torrent TV.ru stuff and you're laughing. Would also recommend installing "The Beast". http://thebeast.spartanpixel.net/- the iVue tv guide is superb, even without any editing of it

OLAS
Aye, I can output Sky Go to the telly using HDMI when using the laptop. But, these hdmi sticks generally use ARM processors although you can get some with Intel processors. On a quick search, Silverlight (Sky Go) doesn't run on the ARM processors unless it has been changed recently and I didn't find anything. Would go for an intel stick with Windows 10 but they're around £100 quid.
Fairbairn
So, finally about to join the 21st century and get an Android box and bin my sports and movie subscriptions. Â The one that's been recommended to me is the Tonbux. Â Anyone got any opinions/advice either way?

I've bought one on ebay and 2 on amazon for others. They're about 65 quid. But I had nectar vouchers and that to use. It's a pile of piss to set up and I went from receiving it to watching the Playboy Channel in less than an hour.
dave the bankie
I just got an android box (XS Box) from Amazon £31.50 with Kodi preloaded and after watching youtube videos on how to do things with it , I am now watching good quality film streams not tried the sports side yet and I am a computer Dinosaur
giblet
This has bypassed me completely. Â I have a SMART TV. Â I take it I cant download Kodi to that? Â I would have to buy one of these boxes? Â And can you get up to date films/sport etc?
Brummie Hibs
I have zGemma H.2S which means you can have Satellite and/or Cable. I have Cable. However, the nudey channels didn't seem to be on. But I didn't wait/test all of them because the GF was in the kitchen.
