Finished this. I enjoyed it. Thought the subject was interesting and it was well acted,  though sometimes  i just want  to shake Bill Pullman, his character can be both gripping and frustrating at times.

Yeah it was decent again, wee bit slow at times but still good. Agree about Bill Pullman 😂 Massive urge to slap him about the face. Good acting from him, playing the tortured, dithering copper 😀

It is good acting. When he puts on that grimace, you know the one, the sort of pained smile and eyes almost closed , I actually find myself going tense and mimicking him .
Though sometimes its because Mr Tidy is chomping his crisps too loud.

He looks like he has got a combination of constipation and a severe dose of piles.

That’s a bit harsh on Mr Tidy, he’s a good mate of mine.

Yes. That too. I have heard anusol provides relief. 👀

You might reconsider that friendship if you had to listen to him working his way through a family size bag of Walkers Max Strong Jalapeno and Cheese.
On the plus side, constipation is not an issue.

Cheeky bassa, I  post all my best recipes on here as well.
Mr Tidy loves my food that much he wont even get a dog in case he needs to share it with him.

Started This Is Us on Prime. The first couple of episodes have me intrigued. Anyone seen this before I plough headlong into 4 seasons?

I havent seen it but it is next on my list as it has been recommended by a few people I know.
One of them recommended Designated Survivor right enough which is complete and utter shite so there is no guarantee.

Careful, it’s apparently similar to the affair, I wasted time watching that to the bitter end, the joys of 5 season shows.

Watching Hinterland just now, the scenery around Wales is lovely

The Affair was awful. Omar should have blasted McNulty at the end of The Wire and saved us all rom that terrible show. 🤓

Gave up on (a) queen of the South and (b) Schitts Creek and (c) White Lines. I can confirm all three are unadulterated fuckin drivel!

Apologies for the harsh lingo but I feel like I wasted half a fuckin week on this shit. I shall check in for some TAMB good cheer from Las Canarias next week, oh and to have a laugh at Brassrubber 🤣

Bunk would be ashamed of McNulty for that performance

Has anyone watched Black Mirror?  One off episodes with different story lines (mostly surrounding futuristic technology) and some very good casts.  Heard it described as a modern day Tales of the Unexpected.  Some are rather weird, a couple boring but mostly they have been pretty good.

Watched the first 2 seasons and some of season 3.
3 episodes stood out.
season 1 episode 3, people being able to memory implant their lives and infidelity,

season 3 episode 5, the soldiers and the mutants.

And the one with the teenager and the pornography

Not sure if I could watch it multiple times like with the Wire but at the time it was brilliant.

The Plot Against America was superb. Highly recommend it.

Good shout that Eddard. Watched the first two last night and will binge more tonight. I noticed it was the same two guys that were behind The Wire 👍
