Not started it yet! But on Netflix trials of Gabriel Fernandez looks good ( well not good due to the nature of his crime but you know what I mean) another true crime series

Started watching WACO last night...

Watch these... yeah they are both long but that is because they are documentaries and very interesting watching. The second one is better but it is better only if you have seen the earlier one first.

The Yorkshire Ripper Files : A Very British Crime Story - is still on BBCi Player

Absolutely makes a mockery of the myths and lies still being spun today

The only bit i thought they kinda glossed over was the secretions on the hoaxer letters to those found on the 1975 Preston murder  and they also never mentioned Sutcliffe's "underwear"

https://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episodes/m0003v61/the-yorkshire-ripper-files-a-very-british-crime-story

thought it was a very good watch

Watched The Big Short on Netflix the other day. Really enjoyed it. Its about a few opportunists who literally made billions by taking out a bet that the US Housing Market would collapse in 2007/8. The main benefactors were  hedge fund managers Michael Burry and Jared Vennet. It did make me a little uncomfortable the way these guys were portrayed as the compassionate side of greedy capitalism though.

Hunters on Amazon Prime is excellent - Al Pacino leading a group of Nazi hunters in 1970s New York. Tarantino-esque at times.

Hope all is good with you ASC 👍

Watched Ramnarok on Netflix in the last week. Pretty good, not great but worth a watch.

Not a series but I enjoyed Parasite the movie. After watching that I watched Old Boy which is an older film. I recommend that one for sure but there’s a few hard to watch scenes in it.

Really liked ‘The Defiant Ones’ On Netflix. About Jimmy Iovine and Dr Dre selling those beats headphones to apple.  If you like your music this a spot on.

Had high hopes for Hunters and it started well but it was those ‘Tarantino-esque’ scenes that put me right off. Totally ruined it for me.

Nae bad min. Trying to weigh up what’s more of a godsend these days - Netflix/Amazon Prime or Disney +, which just landed today.

Given the length of time the schools are going to be shut it has to be Disney + 🤣

nice one Neilser ; think i just mentally scarred our teens with my recommendation of Netflixs "The Platform" (film) - last night

missus and i got into "Looming Tower" on Amazon - rate it as 'nae bad' - difficulty in taking jeff daniels seriously esp when hes having it large with the women / episode 1 of sneaky pete left me pretty cold so didnt continue - there is lot of volume but some real cack out there

there a show on netflix 'becoming champions' showing 8 world cup winners - been watching some of the episodes - decent enough for the average football fan - but lot of overlap

Halfway through the latest series of Ozark. It started a little bit slow but does not disappoint. Ruth must be one of the best TV characters out there and the new marriage guidance counsellor Sue is a good addition.

Think I'll start, and most likely finish, that this weekend.  Looking forward to it.

Started The Tiger King last night.  1 episode in and can tell it's going to weird.  An utterly bizarre cast of "characters".

Think Tiger King will be next on my list. If this isolation goes on for another couple of months I will be resorting  to every shit movie in Netflix and my bloody wedding video again.
Mr Tidy doesn’t  work 9-5 and has days of during the week. He has been watching This Country and it looks funny so I will give that a go, need some cheeriness at the moment and stupid programmes like that make me laugh.

Yeah, stuck with it though slow going - much like The Witcher in that respect.

Watched episode 1 of The Mandalorian last night, and not entirely sure what all the fuss is about but imagine it will get better...
