April to October, 162 games. Plus the playoffs.

The Redsox have won their last 14 games!

I baseball terms that's an astonishing streak. It's their longest winning streak in eighty years - the franchise record is 15 in a row in 1946. They play the Baltimore Orioles tonight to try to equal that.

I saw somewhere (bluesky?) that they won again. I know basically Sweet FA about baseball. This though is an extraordinary winning streak.

Lost last night. Streak ended at 15. But it's changed their season, they're now 52-49 (from 37-48 a few weeks back) and have a chance at making the playoffs if they continue their good form.

With all the excitement of it I watched the first 20 mins or so last night. Lost 4 runs in the opening inning as their opening pitcher was awful. Never recovered obviously. 
 

Hopefully they kick on and make playoffs.
