syecosse Posted July 18 Posted July 18 From what i can see Tyler Fletcher and Daniel Armer impressed in Man Utds first preseason game, Jack Fletcher did ok. Quote
Andy C Posted July 19 Posted July 19 Robbie Ure wins a penalty, would have scored had he not been fouled. Boy makes a mess of the spot kick, perhaps our man should be on them. Really impressed with his movement by the way, always between the width of the posts when it matters. Quote

Andy C Posted July 19 Posted July 19 And there’s the customary goal! Poacher’s effort from inside the 6 yard box, first to react to a rebound. I love this kid! Quote

The Kids on fire! We have to tie him down immediately. Get him capped in the Nations league games and make sure Ukraine can't come sniffing around. Quote
Andy C Posted July 19 Posted July 19 (edited) There’s his 2nd! Clean through, 1v1, cool as you like!!! Edited July 19 by Andy C Quote

His scoring record is hard evidence he should be playing at a higher level. There is zero chance he'll still be at Sirius past the end of this transfer window. I'm excited to see where he ends up. Our new manager would be mental to not pick him. 19 goals in 18 games, I believe. Quote

But if Shankland and Bowie start well then there could be genuine options up front for the first time in years Quote

I think that would be a bit harsh. He's shown he can score against weaker opponents so I think he deserves to be kept in the squad unless he really struggles at rangers. Quote

If he gets near to 20 or more then I would happy keep him in our squad, especially if he has played well in general. Quote
mccaughey85 Posted July 19 Posted July 19 His second is a nice finish. Both goals come from terrible defending. The defending in Sweden looks awful going by some of Ures goals. Quote
Caledonian Craig Posted July 19 Posted July 19 We cannot go binning too many of our players without weakening ourselves. Some players stand out as players at the end of the road. In that category I would put:- Grant Hanley Kenny McLean Lyndon Dykes George Hirst Craig Gordon (retired now) Players that are either ageing and younger options deserve a look or players who are highly unlikely to be a success for us. theabsentee Posted July 19 Posted July 19 3 hours ago, ceudmilefailte said: And Patterson? No we can't. He's young enough to still improve given the chance to build confidence. I thought considering his lack of match practise prior to the tournament he did quite well this summer. Your comments about Shankland also seem a bit harsh. You wanted him to start against Haiti, but all of a sudden you want to retire him before the season has even started. Quote
