Yup the “3rd” biggest teams in Scotland should really be finishing 3rd 4th and 5th every season, I’d imagine the stats on that for the last 25 years are pretty damming

Have they?

I didnt think Celtic were as bad as everyones making out tonight. If they perform at that level every game they will still walk the league unless Rangers somehow make huge strides.

Celtic dont play good football but they control the ball. They still give up too many chances but no Scottish teams dominate spells against them. Was telling that Celtic are the only side ive seen this weekend who reguarly take short corners instead of just lumping it into the box.

How Engles is gonna fetch more than £20 million baffles me. Nygren is a weird player aswell. Does nothing all game but always seems to score or assist.

Didnt affect the game in any way but thought the ref made some strange decisions. I have no skin in the game, watched the match with my brother in law who is a Celtic fan and even he was saying that alot of the 50/50 decisions were going Celtics way. In the 1st half there was 2 Celtic challenges that the ref played on and within minutes gave fouls for very similar Dundee challenges.  Negren evaded a stick on yellow midway through 2nd half and then 3 minutes added time (of which the ref blew 15 seconds early) when there had been 8 subs and a goal in the 2nd half.

Im on record to say I dont think refs do things on purpose but you can see why the conspiracy loons get fueled.

I think you might be a bit premature with that one.

The one thing that stands out from this four day ‘opening day’ is that the standard of Scottish football is in the absolute shitter. I mean, you could maybe give Motherwell a pass and possibly St Johnstone? But the rest? Dearie fuck! 🙈

I had the 4 live games on this weekend, not paying them that much attention to be fair, however the standard was dreadful, absolutely awful to be brutal.

Ramy’s revolting already 😜

From what I've heard from people who have met him, he's been revolting for years.

😁  only joking Ramy. 😋

Fair enough, I only saw bits of it. I’m getting pretty close to the stage where I won’t even bother watching this shite on the TV, Celtic included. As funny as last season was the dross served up to fans of all clubs in general is absolutely disgraceful.

Yep, it's fkn broken

Quite a few decisions that will go against self interest (clubs / authorities) need to be recognised and made

A 1000 mile / 18 hour round trip is more about having a few beers and catch up with my pals than the football these days

Thank fk for Nisbet's penalty, though 😉

At the rate we are operating, we will have an 11 man roster season 26-27...

We’re just gonna play the kids this year for the bantz Ramy. Then when we’re 10 points behind at Christmas we’ll bring in 6 on loan to win the league 😃

I'm not sure who you'll be 10 points behind but it won't be Rangers!  You could stick you up front and Ramy in goals and I don't think it would make any difference!

Ahem, I’ll have you know that I’m capable of a decent finish on my day (although Mrs Slasher might disagree 😂).

Ramy in goal would be a disaster though, they’d just chip it over him all day long 🙈

Would that mean they would then have a roaster on the roster?

I’m watching West Ham here and the hydration break is roundly booed by the crowd a record breaking crowd

It puts to bed the myth that booing when they stopped games during Ramadan so Muslims could eat is Islamophobia from the fans

Very, very rarely that Dundee have an easy win against Aberdeen, but todays win was a stroll in the park. The Dons should be thankful that it wasn't a good few goals more, despite them hitting the crossbar twice.

Isn't it possible that some fans are both Islamophobic and don't like water breaks?

We were abysmal today, Dundee could easily have scored 5 or 6. No fight, no desire & carrying 3 or 4 empty shirts.

Saw this coming.

Aberdeen will be shit this season, huge turnover of players and a shit load of average players signed. Scottish young talent rotting on the bench whilst average foreigners start

Are you deliberately being obtuse?

No. Some fans could be both Islamophobic and the same fans could also not approve of water breaks. I've no idea if that's the case but I don't think it's obtuse to suggest that might be a possibility.

Have been wrong before, and will be wrong again, but that Hogh looks absolutely shite, like legendary levels of shite.

Obviously playing against Killie he will score a few....
