kmt83 Posted June 2 Posted June 2 We've booked a Rally bus for the match. Been a lot of debate about whether this is a better option than the train. In the end we chose Rally as you can take booze and there shouldn't be queuing on the way back, unlike the train. Anyone else doing Rally? Or used Rally before? I've got a bit of the fear we'll be held up in traffic but we seem to be leaving early enough to take account of any jams. Quote
Mike Ehrmantraut Posted June 2 Posted June 2 Also using rally for the Haiti game. Should be early enough to avoid most traffic, and it looks like they are hanging about at the stadium for a while at the end to avoid traffic too. Never used them before so also a wee bit nervous, should be okay though it looks reasonable. Quote
Rossm77 Posted June 2 Posted June 2 We have one booked from New Haven for both games and from what I can see there are about 250 people booked on that route. It leaves 6 hours before KO and is scheduled to arrive 3 hours. Google maps is saying the journey time is 2 hours. I would say they give themselves a bit of leeway to give them plenty of time to get you there. Quote
Souness Posted June 2 Posted June 2 Your biggest worry should be they go ahead. Although confirmed theres plenty of instances of them not actually going ahead. Quote

The fact they will need so many coaches and drivers is a bit of a concern but I suppose it's the same for gigs Quote
Ally Bongo Posted June 2 Posted June 2 The fact that the bus has a toilet should take all the pressure off ... Quote

shaggycoo Posted June 9 Posted June 9 We are leaving at 4.30pm, but like most have mentioned - keep changing the times. Seemingly a 45 min drive to the stadium from our hotel on a normal day so must be expecting gridlock! Thankful for those toilets on board... Quote

Hopefully goes ahead but we’ll be at the stadium early with that leaving time Quote
JohnNola Posted June 12 Posted June 12 Can you let us know how the rally bus service is for the Haiti game. I also get the fear about using them after reading some horror stories. I hope everyone gets their buses without problems Quote
Grim Jim Posted June 18 Posted June 18 No complaints about Rally or their contracted bus co. Most busses had to hang around afterwards for stragglers for various reasons, and we actually had a pair that didn't show, so the bus waited until a designated time (probably in the small print). Thankful for free water bottles, particularly on the ride home. Quote
