28 summers later would have been a better title.

Probably didn't want to tempt fate ....

It’s certainly not a be all and end all, but the entire squad, Clarke included, come across as a really likeable group of lads.

Really enjoyed watching that

Agreed.

Was an excellent waych.

Really enjoyed it.

For me it was really interesting hearing their opinions and affirmed to me that the fans that go home and away are aligned with these opinions of the squad. (BGD saying some fans want new names on the team sheet every game, McTom and BG saying that there’s no easy games anymore / some fans don’t really get that and how SC talking about harmony and continuity is vitally important to name a few).

The rest of the country don’t really get it and are almost against us with their negativity.

I also feel that Gilmour wasn’t going to start all games in the USA. Feel he was going to opt for Ferguson.

a small tear in the eye....
love this generation - more so if the qualify out of the WC groups next month.

some of us waited a long time for that Denmark game.
McToms overhead kick followed by McLean from half way line is now part of folk lore.

You forget the actual goal that got us there? 😆

Great watch and has fair put me in the mood for travelling out to the US next week 😀

Fantastic to see the goals against Denmark from so many different pitchside angles.

Thanks for posting @Ally Bongo. Watched it last night and really enjoyed it. Agreed with VA on another thread about Clarke’s great relationship with the players,  and also felt it rubbished any talk that Robertson isnt the best person to lead the team.

Thought the players came across really well, dedicated professionals with the right attitude and lifestyles. I doubt Clarke or Robertson would tolerate any cunt falling about nightclubs at 5 in the morning

Yes the togetherness of the teams comes across.

Also it came across that Clarke was unusually forthright in the Belarus home game, and team talk before the Denmark game. Hopefully he will be able to put a must-win attitude when we get to tournament football.

That Denmark game, we remember the goals but I had forgotten the sense of anxiety, how the minutes were ticking away before Tierney's goal, after which it all switched and the time was dragging... until the last kick!

I had another look at the DENMARK thread on here, seeing how it all unfolded on the night.

Just watched it again for 3rd night in a row and I’ll be watching it every night till i fly out. Time starting to drag now like waiting as a kid for Christmas

In retrospect it looks an amazing night, people have asked me "it must have been the best game you've seen?" I do tend to agree but at the time though, it was absolute bloody torture!

Yes, as we went ahead relatively early in the game it was a tortuous combination of "this could be our night!" and "how long can we hold on?!" And being pegged back twice, and being outplayed even against 10 men at times, it never looked predestined.
