Big Ramy 1314 Posted April 4 Posted April 4 So, I wasn't aware this could be done, but my mate here in Ottawa had his kilt made bigger on the waist, as he has put some weight on. The tailor took 10 inches from the inside of the kilt and fixed it for him.. It only cost Β£30 quid.. Has anyone had this done and how did it turn out??? I have 2 kilts that I can't get into, One I'll never get into again, the other I think if this method works, it can be made to fit me again !!! It's life, we put weight on as we get older, but I would rather try this approach than buy a new kilt ! I have tried straps, it's close, but I'm still to chubby..ππ Anyone have any advice on this besides laying off the drink and the pies !!! πππ Quote

I think they can undo everything, de-pleat, etc... AndΒ then just start again. Ingenious. Quote
