Stripes are slowly catching up, but Kilmarnock have worn hoops for more years in their history.(1907-61 then 1977-89).

Stoke in the late 80s - Tony Ford first kit with a number on for Christmas.  Peter Beagrie taking the absolute piss - dribbled from his own box and scored twice in a fortnight.  Simon Stainrod pretending get head butted then immediately jumping up take the Peno only immediately being subbed off - Mick Mills on the radio after said he’d never play for Stoke again.  Nowadays it’d be celebrated as ‘being clever’
 

Thinking we had a chance of promotion then playing Crystal Palace with Wright and Bright who ripped us to absolute pieces. Even at 9 I realised these were miles ahead of everyone on the park.

Best memory though was one of Strachan’s first games for Leeds.  Went to take a free kick and stopped, moans at the ref so crowd were giving him shit.  However my old man is going mental screaming for the keeper stay on his line.  Strachan does it again and the blokes around us are looking at my old man jumping about going mental for the keeper stay where he is like he’s lost the plot.  Strachan does it again, Fox takes two steps off his line and Strachan pivots floating the ball over his head from 25 yards.  
 

Momentary silence apart from Strachan celebrating and the 5 ft 8 ginger Scotsman next to me shouting’I fucking telt ye!’  
 

First f bomb my old man dropped in front of me, everyone around us is looking mystified how he knew and he leans in and says ‘saw him do that at Aberdeen’.
