davidrw Posted February 27 Posted February 27 Is anyone else surprised by rental car prices out of Logan International Airport lately? We’re heading to the East Coast for a long weekend at the end of March and I just started checking rates. Even the smallest cars are coming back around $350+, which feels wildly high. In past trips, I’ve usually paid nowhere near that for a basic weekly rental, so I’m trying to figure out if this is just season demand or something else entirely (wish it would be a glitch). Curious if others are seeing the same thing, or if there are any strategies that have worked better than booking directly at Logan. Quote
HerryJames Posted March 2 Posted March 2 I totally get what you’re saying rental car prices out of Logan have been really high lately. Even the smallest cars are crazy expensive probably because of spring travel and fewer cars available. I have seen some people use local options like Metrowest Car Service just to get around the area when airport rentals are so pricey, which can be a simple workaround. Do you usually try to book way in advance, or are you just checking now for this trip? Quote
