Toepoke Posted March 14 Author Posted March 14 So glad it was Ireland and not us receiving that last gasp gut punch.
fringo Posted March 14 Posted March 14 Wow. What a game and what a tournament. Probably the most exciting and entertaining 6 nations ever IMO. So many exciting games, tries and surprise victories and defeats. I'm not a big rugby fan but this 6Ns was superb watching.

AAAfather Posted March 15 Posted March 15 So we finish the year in 3rd. A decent effort and respectable but after the high of the France victory, it is clear we have underachieved these past few years and still cannot adapt our game when the match is not going our way. Scotland effectively has a full British Lions backline and competent forwards. We also have the current top generational talent within the UK in Finn Russell. We should have got above mid-table a least once in recent years. Lets enjoy the Rugby World Cup in 2027 with Gregor Townsend and then rebuild with Franco Smith in charge.
