StirlingEgg Posted February 7 Posted February 7 Watched 2 lost matches today, Stirling County then Scotland. Ah well, maybe we'll play better in blue...
Ally Bongo Posted February 7 Posted February 7 Townsend acting the billy big noise yesterday when explaining why he had left his two top try scorers out
6ft2eysablue Posted February 7 Posted February 7 Not sure which hooker was worse. Basic lack of discipline cost us 3 points with Ashman tackling high in our 22 then lost us the chance of 3 when Turner carded for his clear out .. not sure whether it's a golden generation just feels like we are perenially polishing a turd
AlfieMoon Posted February 7 Posted February 7 Already looking forward to the build up to 2027 and having the best Scotland team of all time.

Townsend is finished IMO I used to think that the decision not to take 3 points from our very kickable penalties, was an on field decision. But we have now been doing it for so long that it must be the coaches decision. Totally mental. Kick those two easy penalties that we had in the first half, and we win that game.

jailender Posted February 8 Posted February 8 Especially when the weather is shite, and handling the ball is harde
neilser Posted February 13 Posted February 13 Heading to Murrayfield tomorrow, more in hope than expectation, but our record against England these last 6 years or so has been phenomenal. The ticket prices are unreal though - £150 for a seat behind the posts, about 4 times the price to watch Scotland at Hampden. 😳 It is at least a chance to watch a team representing Scotland in Scotland on a Saturday, which no longer appears to be a possibility with the football team.

If we win on Saturday we get them to keep 😄I've not been to Murrayfield for 20 years even then it was £55 a ticket to sit roughly where you are talking about.
Hertsscot Posted February 14 Posted February 14 I'm feeling pessimistic. Lot of pressure on Townsend today. Yes, we have at times played exciting rugby under him, yes there have been great results but there's every chance we'll look back on his tenure and think we underachieved.

If we go out with the same game plan as we did against Italy then Townsend should be sacked. It didn't work against Italy and it won't work against England, IMO.

Toepoke Posted February 14 Author Posted February 14 England a man down for the game. Scotland look like we're a man down every scrum though.
Big Ramy 1314 Posted February 14 Posted February 14 Yassssssssssssss 🏴🏴🏴🏴🏴🏴
Hertsscot Posted February 14 Posted February 14 Well done Scotland. We love beating the Auld Enemy, it's probably been the best record in my lifetime by a long, long way but please can we also beat some other teams.
