vanderark14 Posted January 29 Posted January 29 The Aussie open hasn't thrown up any epic matches. Some drama involving Osaka and then Djokovic getting a walk over after being down 2 sets to 0.
vanderark14 Posted January 30 Author Posted January 30 Zverev v Alcaraz into a 5th set and it looks like Alcaraz is carrying an injury I would be surprised if Sinner doesn't win in straight sets both today v Djokovic and in the final
vanderark14 Posted January 30 Author Posted January 30 A phenomenal match between Djokovic and Sinner Djokovic into the final after a 5 set epic.
morrie21 Posted January 30 Posted January 30 In a Grand Slam that had lacked epic matches the semi finals certainly provided the Aussie Open with a legendary day today. Alcaraz and Djokovic came through today but who will have more in the tank on Sunday? If Djokovic can find that level again then he could drag Alcaraz into the deep water. Perfectly set up - Alcaraz going for career Grand Slam; Djoko for his 25th major title.

Beat me to it, up until today the most exciting moments were Osaka walking on to court in a ridiculous outfit for a tennis match and some mild controversy during her match Then today we get treated to two 5 setters. Excellent to watch and not without controversy either, Zverev quite right losing his shit because Alcaraz took a medical time out for cramp. The master and the young pretender up next, I honestly cant believe Djokovic pulled it off, thats one of his biggest career wins and if he wins the slam it will be one his greatest wins. Roll on sunday
