If you had someone who can finish, which we don't !!

Catch 22 again   You can only score goals if you create chances. What we need is two players who can do both !!

Respect your opinion mate, I just don't rate Dykes or Adams. They are both mince.. Just my opinion...

I would say Dykes was decent 3 or 4 years ago and Adam’s will always score goals against weaker opponents.
I don’t think either of them have the all round game to play against Morocco or Brazil.
I would say we have two strikers that might make an impact against higher level opponents, Stewart and the lad at Hull

Big Craigie said last night that he's almost there fitness wise, hopefully by the end of the week... fingers crossed he'll be ready!

Hopefully he's fit to resume for Morocco v Haiti 😁

Not sure about that tbh as it’s Scotland at the end of the day. You just know we might need Haiti to do us a favour in that game. Just like what Belarus done for us in Copenhagen.

Be a shame for Conway if he misses out.  However he was probably getting picked because he can do a job out wide so it potentially leaves a spot for a wildcard who can actually play wide.

Craig Halkett done his achilles which is gutting for the guy, he's had a great season and has been solid.

Instead of just sticking a central midfielder out wide and hoping for the best, you mean? It's a radical idea but it might work.  🤔

Hanley went off with a knee injury yesterday. Even if he was unable to train for 2 or 3 weeks, I think that should be enough not to take him. He's only played 2 and half games since being injured in early Feb. These few weeks in the run up were going to be essential to trying to get back match sharp. We've got away with it in the past (Denmark) and been burnt (Greece) before, but surely we can't take another gamble in the circumstances. You could argue that he would have been better suited to the final 2 group games but it's not much extra time to get up to speed. I'd take Mckenna, Souttar, Hendry and Hyam. I'd have taken Halkett if fit but now I'd take 5 full backs and an extra striker instead. Bowie, Mcburnie or Stewart.

If playing 4 at the back and we apre particularly unlucky with injuries, Tierney, Patterson or McLean could do a job at centre back in an emergency.

Conway ruled out of World Cup with ankle injury

Thats opened the door big time for the likes of burke and Stewart.

With Hanley out as well it's going to be interesting to see who gets called up as replacements.

Craig Halkett would definitely have been the first choice for a replacement for Grant Hanley but with him injured too, what about Stephen Welsh from Motherwell as a call up? Been excellent this season.
