This suggests that you ticked the downgrade box, if you didn't then my apologies. If you wanted to get a CAT 1 ticket to sit with your daughter then you should not have ticked the downgrade box. Again, apologies if I have misunderstood.

Did the same for my wife’s account who applied with our other son. She can buy three tickets for both matches which would suggest she has been unsuccessful.

We are all on 14 points - wondering if they are allocating gradually?

Still good that they have been downgraded. I still say people applying with U18's should have been able to do so on Average Points given they were forced to do so.

Looks that way but considering I was booked on a plane to Boston on the 10th of January it’s hardly surprising.

Kids (applying as adult/child) are on 14 points. Applied for both Haiti and Morocco Category 1 with downgrade selected. Showing up in their account as Cat 2 for Haiti (must have been downgraded) but Cat 1 for Morocco. From the last figures it looked like it was more likely to get the Cat 2 for Morocco. There may have been a sudden change with higher pointers moving to Cat 2. A friend was also on 14 points but his have both been downgraded to Cat 2. Anyone else on 14 points the same?

Additionally applied Cat1 for Brazil and now in Cat 2.

Anyone else in this situation? Applied for cat 1 with downgrade, as did others in the group- and we linked the applications. I’ve been allocated cat 2 (standard) and it looks like the others have cat 1 (premier). Is this sortable, or do I just move on and accept we cat sit together?

Im not sure if the info above regarding trying to put 4 tickets into basket and if it doesnt let you then it means you have got a ticket is accurate.

Earlier today it let me put 4 tickets in for the Hiati game but for the Morocco and Brazils games there was a message saying I couldnt as it would take me beyond the limit (oe words to that effect)

However is now letting me put 4 tickets in basket for all 3 games.

Think it will just be a wait and see over next few days.

Exactly same has happened with us. 

Both on 14 points, we applied for cat1 for Haiti & Morocco with downgrade option. 

We linked the applications together, from the application screen my partner has got downgraded for both games, I've only been downgraded for Haiti, so we'll be making some new friends on game day 🙂 

Lets see what happens when the email confirmations come out

I’m on 16 points and my application still says Standard for each game.   Was hoping I’d pick up one or two of the value ones in the 16 point ballot.

Applied for cat 2 and application showing standard so no change? Four of us on 14 points.

Thanks - it’s beginning to look like 14 pointers were balloted for the Cat 2 Morocco tickets. Some got and some didn’t so just the luck of the draw. Staying on Cat 1 with downgrade seems to have been the sensible option to guarantee a ticket.

I’m on 18 and didn’t so I doubt there was a ballot at 16

Yup. Which is actually against the guidance too. 
 

I created another thread about 50 days ago saying this would happen.

I was Cat 1 for Morocco with downgrade. Guidance said I should go for Cat 2. If I had done that I could have missed out. 
 

It is guidance though and I hope most went against it.

Is it on the "my application" page that people are talking about. Mine just shows closed and then has the ticket I applied for.

If I try to buy more than 2 tickets on fifa marketplace for the matches I applied for via the SFA, it won’t let me and there is a message that says I have purchased 2 tickets previously

Likely you got that then.

Other people have applied for a category and it’s been changed for them to another based on downgrade.

I actually changed from cat 1 to cat 2 after reading the guidance on point thresholds before the deadline. Must have misread it then but if it’s worked out that is lucky.
