A lot of Americans will view this as a once in a lifetime chance (over 30 years since the last one, and probably don’t follow football enough to realise FIFA are fixing it so it will be back in just over a decade…) Agreed. It’s the same for a lot of these mega events. London Olympics was huge. Went to 1 event I could get a ticket for - basketball - with no Team GB involvement. It was Spain v France and Russia v Lithuania. Last minute tickets were £120 a pop and lucky to get them in the night before returns sale. 14 years ago, and prices were nuts, and there was no online resale market, with touting effectively illegal. I can’t see a mass of under face value tickets popping up, certainly wouldn’t be planning around that Quote
GaryWood34 Posted February 20 Posted February 20 Brutal. Scotland v Brazil Cat 3 $178 on the marketplace now but when people add them it adds a $2000 ticket. Heart breaking moment of joy for some folk when they originally see it. Quote

IF you can sell them on Tout sites, gauranteed there will be some STC tickets in there. Which is shit. It was the SSC that said those tickets would be non-transferable. Presumably to prevent, to some extent, those with enough points hoovering up all the tickets to become touts themselves. The same was said prior to Germany and those tickets were transferable. Quote
Stockholm 1980 Posted February 20 Posted February 20 7 hours ago, Craig Fae Hamilton said: It was a discussion on here? I only glanced over it but the jist was that STC tickets could not be sold or transferred on the FIFA Platforms. I think it would be absolutely brilliant if any Members bought them with the intention of not actually going themselves and they lost their dough. Bit that aside, it would still be good to know if they can be transferred or sold for sure? What if a member has bought a Brazil Ticket based on the last SSC update, having faith their 12 point mate was going to get one too, and now inadvertently have a Brazil ticket but their mate lost out in a 12 point ballot. ( What created the ballot is another matter ) There should be a legitimate means the member with the ticket, in this instance, me, can move it on at cost if his / her mate cannot get one, but at the moment there is no mechanism to do this. There will be in the future. However it wouldn’t be “ Absolutely Brilliant” if I do my money and can’t recover my costs, but you seem to think that would be a big laugh. Quote

Tartan Dazzie Posted February 20 Posted February 20 Lad I know has got what appears to be a PMA ticket through Vividseats. So while it’s disappointing to see a fellow fan profiting off it, it does seem to confirm they can be transferred and the fact it was on Vividseats backs up they can’t be resold on the FIFA marketplace. Triple Sure........Sure, sure........sure. So your plan to go to the world cup was solely based on the last SSC Update? LOL, it all hinged on that apparently. Scroll down, somebody said SSC tickets can beTouted it on Vivid. Or, why don't you just give your log in details to someone on here that you know and that will allow you to sell it for FV? That should be easy done? Quote

Furthermore, this is an absolute disaster for you. What you going to do with your flights and hotel accomodation? Obv as everywhere was getting booked up and flight prices were going through the roof you will have all these booked too? You could give your rooms to someone else, that's easy. Was it cancellable flights? Also a bit weird you are cancelling an ENTIRE TRIP because you have only 1 ticket instead of 2? Most other people are making the trip ticketless? WEIRD to say the least! Most other people are making the trip ticketless? WEIRD to say the least! It is far from being a disaster. We are booked up for an 11 night trip, staying in great locations and hotels. We are going to Morocco match, Uruguay 🇺🇾 v Curacao 🇨🇼 and hopefully Brazil along with doing other things. The majority are not going over there on a ticketless trip. I never said we’d cancel an entire trip based on only having one Brazil ticket. I might decide not to use mines and move it on, but currently the system does not allow for this but it does going forward. If I did this it would be at cost or a swap, not via Tout Sites you highlighted. You have been obsessed for months with tickets applications, resale sites, how many tickets you didn’t get in a random draw, resale site prices, rules for selling PMA tickets etc etc. You could easily be mistaken for having a ticketing side hustle. Really, nah. Just don't have $4500 to spunk on four tickets for Group Games against Haiti and Morrocco. Therefor I am focused on every aspect of ticket prices. And you are really considering not going to go to Brazil v Scotland because you have nobody to sit beside??? WTAF???? This is the crux of your complaint that SSC tickets cannot be sold on. All because Stockholm 1980 might need to sit on his Todd to watch Brazil V Scotland in the World Cup Finals. With shite excuses like this, anybody would think you bought the ticket to Scalp some poor Scotland fan!! Anybody normal would just be happy they have a ticket, and not be concerned with selling it on because they don't want to sit themselves. Can you not see why people should be sceptical of your claim? As above, I don't have $4.5K to spunk on 4 tickets for Morocco and Haiti. Hence, admittedly, my infatuation with Ticket Prices and getting Tickets. WTAF???? - If he is unsuccessful himself I will likely buy my mate a ticket and he can pay me back overtime This is the crux of your complaint that SSC tickets cannot be sold on. - They will be sellable and transferable soon enough, absolutely nothing to do with currently trying to get another Brazil Ticket for a mate. All because Stockholm 1980 might need to sit on his Todd to watch Brazil V Scotland in the World Cup Finals.- I wouldn’t be on my own but have the concellation of knowing I am in beside other Scotland Fans. With shite excuses like this, anybody would think you bought the ticket to Scalp some poor Scotland fan!! - I take exception to this. I’ve given away more Football Tickets than you probably have been to games. Why do I not have a Haiti Ticket ? I won’t be in the country then and never intended attending or applying for a ticket which I could have gotanyway, but would have been denying a fan who was going and wanted to attend the Haiti match. You are so far from the truth in making that accusation. Anybody normal would just be happy they have a ticket, and not be concerned with selling it on because they don't want to sit themselves. Can you not see why people should be sceptical of your claim? - I can assure you I am totally normal. Can you not see your fixation with who has what type of tickets and who is doing what with one type of ticket or another is not normal. If you were smart enough to latch on to cheap Brazil Tickets months ago ( Although you didn’t know who match 49 was going to be ) why the hell have you not bought Haiti or Morocco Tickets. Quote
Craig Fae Hamilton Posted February 21 Author Posted February 21 LOL, you seem to have an un-healthy fascination with me @Stockholm 1980. The more you speak the more I think you actually did intentionally buy a SSC ticket to Scalp somebody?. I still don't think you would, but it just does not make sense what you are saying. Anyway: "Says the man who applied for loads of Random Ballot Tickets" All Cat 3's for games we could go to. Limited chance of winning even a couple and total was less than $4.5K. Should I ask you in fiture when applying for Tickets? "If he is unsuccessful himself I will likely buy my mate a ticket and he can pay me back overtime" So, we started this conversation and you were raging that SSC tickets could not be sold because you were so scared about losing the money. Then it changed to you were actually only scared to sitting yourself 😀. And now the story has changed to you will just pay $1500 for your mate to come with you to the game. I'm a Poker player, and it just sounds like you are making this up as you go along. Hence, and I hope not, you easily could have bought this ticket to specifically Scalp a Scotland Fan. What you are saying changes by the minute and makes no sense whatsoever? So to clarify. 15 hours ago, Stockholm 1980 said: There should be a legitimate means the member with the ticket, in this instance, me, can move it on at cost if his / her mate cannot get one, but at the moment there is no mechanism to do this. Why are you bothered about this if you had absolutely no intention of selling the ticket anyway? And, I think it would be a big laugh if anybody did buy SSC tickets to scalp someone and did lose their money. To be clear. It just would not be a laugh for the rest of the SSC who were left with 1 ticket left to buy. 17 minutes ago, Stockholm 1980 said: I take exception to this. You are so far from the truth in making that accusation. I do not actually think you would have done this. But I am struggling to make sense of your story. See above. I am unsure why you are being so defensive as you were the one that was raging it could not be re-sold as you wanted to re-coup your money? But now, it's a different situation? Maybe you did not explain it well the 1st time round? So to clarify, did I mis-understand your 1st post on this. And you didn't want to sell it or re-coup your money? 15 hours ago, Stockholm 1980 said: What if a member has bought a Brazil Ticket based on the last SSC update, having faith their 12 point mate was going to get one too, and now inadvertently have a Brazil ticket but their mate lost out in a 12 point ballot. Stevie123 Posted February 22 Posted February 22 Folks - i bought 3 Morocco cat 2 tickets on resale. We now only need 2 so have one spare. Paid a little bit more, but selling for £600 to try shift if anyone is intersted. Based in East Kilbride. Cheers Quote
MikeAFC94 Posted February 22 Posted February 22 Hi, I have a cat 1 Morocco ticket through the SSC ballot, looking to sell (face value, 600USD) or swap for a Haiti ticket. Cheers Quote
Hanx Posted February 22 Posted February 22 So Infantino says "Every match is sold out" and also says they have "kept some tickets back". Both of these can't be true. I still believe that they have just held on to tickets for popular games believing they can charge more in the dynamic pricing phase. It's noticeable that a Scottish address seems to have reduced your chances of getting tickets in the RSD - which is of course the very people who might pay more later. That also fits with the resale site still showing 'limited availability' for Scotland games. Quote
