Access Code - anyone not get it?

Weirdly never got my email with my access code. I’ve checked junk mail etc but don’t seem to have it.

My Dad and my son got theirs and I’m higher loyalty points.

I’ll email them tomorrow, but just wondered if it was just me.

My son didn’t get one. 

Could be because of his age. He’s 17 but turns 18 in a couple of weeks (and importantly before the ticket window closes).

He emailed them tonight.

Will let you know. His birthday is early Jan too but crucially before the deadline so should be able to apply if he has a code.

I’m guessing your daughter didn’t get a code either. SSC probably had a cut off of yesterday for age but they’ll be a few turning 18 before the deadline. Have you emailed them?… if they see a few of us in the same boat they might realise the mistake.

Regardless of them turning 18, the age is at now.

A friend asked and was told they needed to do the surgery - his boy is 18 on boxing day. 

They'd need to try and manipulate a code as it'll be classed as a missed survey.

That’s my worry! I completed the survey to include my 15 year old daughter on my application and FIFA only permit 1 child on an adult application (still don’t understand this rule).

At the application closing date he’ll be an adult. I’m obviously a little biased but up to that date we can change ticket categories etc so Jan 13th is effectively when the application is made.

I’m pretty sure if FIFA had adult/child pricing they’d expect him to attend with an adult ticket as he’ll be 18 and a half by the time the WC comes around.

They would but, as its a flat fare they don't. 

Unfortunately you're going to have to sacrifice one of them attending.

Did anyone get a response about missing access codes yet?

I didn't get mine (I'm a lot further from 18yo than I care for) and emailed yesterday.

Being patient as there's plenty time, but would be nice to know if it is an acknowledged issue and they are handling it.

As @Souness said he got a one line reply stating it’s age when the codes were sent out. Would have been helpful to some if that was mentioned earlier in the process. I knew he had to be 18 to apply but wrongly assumed he could apply later when he was 18 before the window shut!

Honestly SSC are a sham, one liner replies to all queries, clearly could have let adults apply on behalf of ssc junior members - as long as it was the same email address as the SSC member it would be easy to link them up …seen English fans doing this.

cant get a hold of them on a phone to ask about the period or review ….

No conversations about pricing…or a statement about it 

no information on the survey uptake to help guide initial choices 

happy to take the coin for memberships but unhappy to take hard questions on the very job they are there to do …

 but ssc could easily have found a workaround …access is only given via a code , as long as the fifa email account could be married up against a ssc account then it would have been fine …so a parent could’ve applied on behalf of the child..

even ignoring that - the lack of availability on the phone is appalling …Xmas is already a stressful time of year for folk never mind adding having to deal with robotic one liners back and forth instead of just nailing all your questions on a call….they could’ve done call backs if easier

One of my friends trying to sort for his kids and has had a near meltdown trying to tell his boys that both can go despite being on 18/19 points ….

Or just have an amnesty. Upgrade all kids ages to 18 for the duration of this ticket farce. Then downgrade them afterwards. FIFA don’t know or care how many kids you take. There’s no impact on their revenue. 
 

Then just put a fake age in for the kids and sorted.
