I'm going to see Scotland at a world cup thread!

Ok self congratulatory I know but got tickets today for the game v Morocco. True football fan seller on the marketplace clearly offloading tickets they took a punt on prior to the draw for face value. 310 USD category 2. Big shout out to him/her. 

Anyway I still plan to go to all 3 games, 11 points so fingers crossed category 1 ssc for Brazil and pick up a Haiti ticket. Applied even in their fan allocation under a different account. Like many this is a huge undertaking on cost but I can tell you it feels amazing to know you will be there for sure and you have a ticket confirmation in hand. Whatever happens now I will see Scotland at a world cup!

43 years old now. Was due to go to France 98 when I was 16 but my dad got ill. He passed since but it was his dream we went together, we never thought that was our only opportunity. If it's another 28 years I will be in my 70s it may be my only chance in life. I can't believe I will be there and my dad will be smiling down. 

I can now just focus on the fact it's going to be the best 3 weeks of my life and I can't wait.

Who else is already sorted to be there in the flesh!

I have tickets but very worried as I bought them from GoTickets.

Apparently you dont get the tickets until the day before the match in most cases and it cost me a fortune but atm, I'm going to the Brazil game.

Flights are crazy and 25-30 hours to get there from where I am.

I may still resell them somehow but no idea how to.

For all the (justified) grievance about ticket prices, this is what it's all about.

So pleased for our fans who've never experienced Scotland at a World Cup. The last time around even the TAMB didn't exist, now that is a long while!

I missed France, I just did not have the money, I was gutted. I started following Scotland AWAY just after it though. 1st game was San Marino 7th Oct 2000! Matt Elliot Scored. Then onwards to Croatia for the Double header.

Then Belgium, Lithiania, Germany, Wales, Moldova, Norway, Lithiania again, Italy, France (McFadden), Holland, Norway again, Lithiuania again, NI (Dublin), Brazil, Wales again (Dublin), ROI, Leichtenstein, Spain and that's me up to 2012. AMAZING memories! The rest another time.

But safe to say, I wasn't going to miss this World Cup!

Have a trusted ticket broker who I’ve used before for concerts and football matches in Europe champions league etc he has follow Scotland tickets for all games and his prices are very reasonable I can pass anybody on that’s looking cannot wait
