sultan_of_arabia Posted December 13, 2025 Posted December 13, 2025 Not sure if there a better way of doing this on this forum but simple question: only option do you pay 500 quid a ticket. Yes or No? We can assume that anyone on here is not a casual fan but will give some idea. Quote
YesTA Posted December 13, 2025 Posted December 13, 2025 An other TAMB members paid £1000 for the Haiti game. For me, depends... im doubtful for the SSC so will be applying for general ballot and more tickets at $500. Quote
Lion Rampant Posted December 13, 2025 Posted December 13, 2025 Yes, if I'm travelling all the way to Boston then I'll pay that for a ticket. I'm only going to be there for one game, would maybe be a different story if I was going out for all 3 and I'd maybe pay that and go to one and just be in the fanzone for the other 2. Quote
bdgsct Posted December 13, 2025 Posted December 13, 2025 Yes - if that's what the market rate is for good seats the day before the game. No - 6 months in advance to line FIFAs pockets for the worst seats in the stadium via SSC points Quote
NSIGN Posted December 13, 2025 Posted December 13, 2025 Yes. Already paid double that. If I could have gone to all three matches I wouldn’t have paid that much but im only able to get to the one game so secured a ticket early for some peace of mind. Also I have spoke to some of my family who are travelling to the games from Tallahassee, Ohio, San Francisco & Toronto. As I have said in another thread the stadium will either be half empty or it will be like a Scotland home match full of the Diaspora singing Flower of Scotland with an American accent. Quote
Craig Fae Hamilton Posted December 14, 2025 Posted December 14, 2025 Absolutely NO! The price Point I will pay is how much it will take for Americans to sell out a 65,000 Seat Stadium to watch Haiti, Morocco and Brazil V Scotland. That price point is nowhere near $500 for Haiti, $600 for Morocco or $700 for Brazil. Quote
HappyH00ligan Posted December 14, 2025 Posted December 14, 2025 No, at that cost I’d risk it with dynamic pricing hoping that it drops closer to the time. But if it stays at £500, unfortunately it’s just not affordable for me. Quote
Bristolhibby Posted December 14, 2025 Posted December 14, 2025 It would catch in my craw. I paid tout prices for the two Hampden Euro 2020 games. 200 notes for £40 tickets and felt I had to do it. Could have got an England game ticket for £500 but that was too rich for my taste. I’m a bit older and have some more money, I may pay the £500 now. But will be fine with Cat 3 SSC tickets. Which incidentally are more than the tout (Stubhub) prices I paid for my Euro 2020 tickets! Certainly more than the Germany Opener last year and the e60 tickets for the other two games. J Quote
KENTTA Posted December 14, 2025 Posted December 14, 2025 Definately No. Plus Flights, accomodation, beer etc Pub it is, but not in the USA Quote
Flying Fish Posted December 14, 2025 Posted December 14, 2025 If I am in America yes but I have cancellable flights and hotels so if I cant get a ticket I won't be travelling. Too much money to go just for the experience. Prices are obscene and I think they will drop over time. Was in Italy 90 and France 98 so at least Ive had that if I don't go this time. Quote
Mushet84 Posted December 15, 2025 Posted December 15, 2025 I've booked for Boston for 8 days for the 1st 2 games and on 14 pts, Ill be applying for CAT 1 tickets as i defo wont get CAT 3 and i want to sit with my brother and he is on 16 pts and he will likely get a CAT 2 ticket but we would prefer to sit together. Quote
lau03143 Posted December 15, 2025 Posted December 15, 2025 It's a hard yes for me... If I'm travelling all the way there for a once in lifetime opportunity then I will pay it. Also, it's close to the going price for sports in the US Quote
Caledonian Craig Posted December 15, 2025 Posted December 15, 2025 The way I see it a mate of mine was telling me his mate shelled out £399 (down from £799) for a coffee machine. Sooner spend that sort of money seeing Scotland play in a World Cup. Quote
Ally Bongo Posted December 15, 2025 Posted December 15, 2025 Posting this here as well as it's important as many see it as possible Quote
alloakenny Posted December 15, 2025 Posted December 15, 2025 FIFA will get away with the extortion this time round as I believe that every match in the USA will sell out. They will also probably do the same in 2030 however they will be punished in Saudi 2034 when I think fans from all nations will have had enough and boycott all matches Quote
Craig Fae Hamilton Posted December 16, 2025 Posted December 16, 2025 I won 4! 2 for me and my Boy. Gave 2 away! Just happy to have ended up with a fairly priced ticket! Quote

Got a Mail delivered to my Junk Mail saying I had won the right to buy tickets. Only noticed it 2 hours after my slot had opened but slot covered all weekend. So I tried all weekend to buy tickets and could not order any. Site allowed me to add tickets to cart but never allowed me to progress to actually buy them. Then for a magical 30 Minutes on the Sunday. It allowed me to buy whatever I wanted! Only Miami was left so I just started buying 2 Value Tickets for every game I could. It was allowing up to 4 so on the last game I thought, I will try to buy 4 of these..........that game turned out to be Scotland v Brazil! However, after the draw it could easily have been Haiti v Morocco! Thakfully the Soccer Gods shined on me! Here was what I got: 2 Tickets: 1st Game Group H - Saudi Arabia v Uruguay $60 each 2 Tickets: 2nd Game Group H - Uruguay v Cabo Verde $75 each 4 Tickets: 3rd Game Group C - Scotland v Brazil $60 each 2 Tickets: 3rd Game Group K - Colombia v Portugal $75 each 2 Tickets: 1st J v 2nd H (Last 32) - Argentina v Uruguay Maybe $135 each Will use Scotland Tickets obv. Last part of trip we stay with our Scottish Cousin in Toronto. 2 Tickets going to him. rest will be used to fincnace Scotland tickets up to Last 16 hopefully! We are banking on Boston for LAst 32 and Phile for Last 16! Quote
