I'm travelling solo and have just booked a bed in a mixed dorm room in the HI Boston Hostel.

A hostel wouldn't have been my first choice but after looking at hotel/Airbnb costs I was happy to get 8 nights from the 12th to the 20th for under a grand!

Anyone else staying here?

Booked an apartment in Bay State Road, Back Bay for 11 nights from the 11th for myself & one of my sons. Handy for the Baseball which is the only tickets we have so far anyway. Got a pretty good price & good reviews so hopefully all good.

Nice one, our digs are a 5 min walk from there in Salem. It will likely be a taxi back from Boston on the night of the game. Happy to share that to half the costs if it all works out.

There's a guy Mike on the Boston TA WhatsApp group running some busses starting from central Boston, but with possibly different return drop offs.

There's only a few folk so far asked for a Salem drop off, so may not happen.

I’m at the Charlesmark hotel in Boston. Looks like it’s only five minutes from Boston common.
Not sure about getting to the ground but I’m sure it will all work itself out.

Supporters trains to the ground leave from South Station.

I looked at it but by the time I got around to it only female only dorms were available.

We're at the Westin in the seaport district from 12-16th June.

Around £1800 for four nights between two of us, so around £225 a night each. Expensive, but not off the scale.

I downgraded my hotel by £700 to cover the resale ticket cost.

I'm staying there as well, when my mates bailed because of the cost I was same as you and decided this was the best option considering prices elsewhere. I'm there 11th to 20th but I might go to New York between the two games. Did you get a HI membership for the discount? Think it was £15 but saved me couple of hundred dollars.

Doubletree Cambridge for us x 4 if anyone else is in that part of town. Flying into NY on 8th, then getting the train up on the 11th

ConsideringCambridge. I'm a solo traveller and only in Boston 24hr as coming up from Orlando. Is there any Whatsapp groups or shared transport information? Keen to not be wondering around on my own.

Not seen any Boston Whatsapp groups yet shared.  Their is a few different groups on the Facebook pages organising travel to the game and back.

Hotel we are in is on the fringe of Cambridge area, think there are hotels closer to Harvard than ours.

Where did you get? I'm looking at the minute. Do have a free cancellation in Braintree as a fall back.

Staying here 16th to 20th with Mrs and two teenage boys. Missing first game as one doing the exams. Looks a good spot.

Marriot "Courtyard"? I may just grab this one too. Seems transport links are decent enough.

Originally booked cancellable Airbnb out in Waltham. Great price, although 10 miles out, but T line close by. I kept a regular eye on accomodation, and two weeks back got something in Somerville on AirBnB, slightly more expensive than Waltham, but way handier for City Hall Plaza and South Station.  Most currently available central accomodation still extortionate, but cheaper things do occasionally come up, so maybe people are cancelling.

Just seen this now.

Didn't know that membership was an option. I've booked through Hotels.com for a price I was happy with. Really looking forward to this now.

We’ve got an Airbnb in Chelsea, near the T station. There from the 12th - 20th.

It’s only 17 dollars for an uber in to down town Boston from Chelsea which is quite a good price
