Hired a car for 4 days between games for a wee tour. Down to Cape Cod then up into Maine. Found a room in a house for 3n in Winthrop, next to Logan Airport for Ā£45pn. Check Homestay if you haven't booked anything yet or maybe want cheaper accommodation. Flight to Fort Myers, Florida for 2 days in the The Keys before Miami. Ā Quote

Iāve got the missus there with me for 10th-14th as well before she heads home and Iām probably going to Providence for the days inbetween the games to save some cash. New York an option as well but Iām not sure.Ā Think thereās even some nice spots up in that Cambridge / Somerville area near the hotel for restaurants and bars as well.Ā Quote

Seems like a good spot for the compromise of cost/location/transport links/bars/ restaurant etc. Free cancellation up to a couple of days before arrival in the event that something more appealing crops up.
