GSS Posted December 12, 2025 Posted December 12, 2025 What area is everyone staying in Boston? We have been looking at a couple of places in Sommerville and Cambridge Quote
HappyH00ligan Posted December 12, 2025 Posted December 12, 2025 We've got a spot up nearish Somerville beside Assembly Square. Cheapest we could find with decent links to the centre. Quote
Gordon63 Posted December 12, 2025 Posted December 12, 2025 Airbnb in Everett 7 of us, not cheap but cheaper than (majority) of local hotels Quote
allan84 Posted December 13, 2025 Posted December 13, 2025 We are near Fields Corner T station, Boston seems to be the most expensive city out of all! Quote
Broath Boy Posted December 13, 2025 Posted December 13, 2025 Stay New York then bus to Boston on day of game, far cheaper. Quote
YesTA Posted December 13, 2025 Posted December 13, 2025 30 mins outside in a city called Salem. Quote

Silversand Posted December 13, 2025 Posted December 13, 2025 (edited) Return flight to NY, 12th June booked 3 months ago worked out well. 1 night in NY, & have booked train up to Boston on match day, midday, arriving 4pm. Grandson & pal arriving match day 1pm, via direct flights, & we're doing a week in Boston, to cover first 2 matches. Then I'm on my own for Miami, via Key West for a few nights. Back to NY for flight home, the day after England match, which is a bit worrying, but NY is huge so shouldn't be a problem. I've posted on this thread before, but plans evolving 🤗 Edited December 13, 2025 by Silversand Quote

SeonaidhMc Posted January 1 Posted January 1 We're staying in Dedham, on the line between the stadium and Boston. Great for the train, safe and plenty of bars and restaurants. Quote
runningtings Posted January 1 Posted January 1 Yeh we are in Dedham too seems like a good location. Quote
niallb Posted January 1 Posted January 1 Doubletree Cambridge for us x 4 if anyone else is in that part of town. Flying into NY on 8th, then getting the train up on the 11th Quote

TA will be spread out in all directions 1-2 hours from the stadium, we’re staying in Providence so won’t be near Boston on match days like a lot of others, spend the time before heading to stadium in Providence bars. Probably have a look around Boston day before 2nd game. Quote
Caledoniangold Posted January 2 Posted January 2 Not a millionaire @Craig Fae Hamilton thanks for the concern though 👍🏼 Quote

Nice one, our digs are a 5 min walk from there in Salem. It will likely be a taxi back from Boston on the night of the game. Happy to share that to half the costs if it all works out. Quote
Grim Jim Posted January 6 Posted January 6 Sounds good @YesTA. I might also contact our hotel for local advice, and maybe they'd run a shuttle. You never know. Quote
adamntg Posted January 6 Posted January 6 I’ve booked a place in Fall River. Was tempted by Lizzie Borden house just for a laugh but the rooms are the wrong size. Resigned to having to drive up and back for Haiti game, but my youngest is only 19 so it wasn’t gonna be a big beer fest anyway. Quote
Haggis Jack Posted January 6 Posted January 6 It’s the Longwood Inn near Brookline for my friend and me. Handy for Fenway Park v Toronto Bluejays. Quote
faddysgirl Posted January 6 Posted January 6 Staying in Cambridge, in a hotel that's £400 a night each!!! Ah fuck it. Quote
