Would’ve been good if the city had been full of hype while we were there if they’d go to the final. Not to be. However think the football would’ve been a secondary item on the agenda and might’ve wasted it a bit re getting in to bars and potentially for ticketless fans would have dramatically reduced the number of bars etc showing our game! Actually surprised it's 'only' $80 to enter. https://www.baa.org/races/boston-10k/info-for-athletes/#pre-race-open-registration I’ll have so much drink in me I’ll need oars and a canoe just to get across the start line. Haha. £200 a ticket and that’s the worst ticket with no seat to see Nathan Evan’s (wears England tops) and Susan Boyle. Quote

Everything being marketed basically as ‘drink as much you can’ to make what you’re paying for value for money. Can’t say I like that. Seems to be the same with the TA boat cruises that are well north of £100 from memory. Not my cup of tea but each to their own. Quote

colinreid9 Posted Friday at 04:40 AM Posted Friday at 04:40 AM Football: the Boston derby is on Tuesday 16th June. Boston Bolts vs. Boston City @ Brandeis University, Waltham (suburb of Boston). 7pm KO. Division USL2 -> known as "pre-professional" aka non-league. These are mostly college players in their summer season but I go see my local team at this level – it's a good standard and pretty fun. And either free or cheap to get in. Not sure if they sell bevvy though. https://www.instagram.com/bostonboltsusl2/ Quote
