SSC - 14+ points should guarantee you

Ballot - Everyone will enter, non-Scotland fans to make a few quid.

Secondary Market - there'll be plenty, just depends when you jump on it.

I am no longer a member as I live in Australia. Will be there regardless. I will have to go through FIFA resale to get tickets. I know that some members not going will possibly buy tickets to make a profit. I don’t agree with it, but if it’s going to happen, better to sell them to someone like me rather than a Brazilian on marketplace. I took a gamble and bought a few overprice tickets for Seattle and Vancouver as it was nearest to Australia. Have to get shot of them.

If someone is going to offload tickets please contact me. Need 2 tickets for Morocco and Brazil. No worries, with the price.

Hard to believe a game being played in a 65000 capacity stadium thousands of miles from both Scotland and Morocco will cause a massive surge for tickets.

I’m sorta thinking the same thing. In this case it will be the SSC members that will get gouged. If no ticket, just hold tight. They will come online as scalpers will be trying to off load them. Americans by and large have zero interest in “soccer”.

Does anyone know the procedure for members? Particularly do we have sign up to FIFA first?

FIFA Application Window

SSC Members will be able to apply for all of Scotland’s group stage matches and potential knock-out matches, during the FIFA Application Window for PMA tickets, which will run from Thursday, 11 December until Tuesday 13 January.

Although the window for all PMAs opens on Thursday, 11 December, SSC Members will first have access to apply for tickets on Monday 15 December via the official FIFA Portal using an access code. These will be issued to each member on this date, based on the loyalty points system, with the issuing of codes staggered throughout the day, starting from the highest points level.

It is worth stressing in the first instance that, unlike for EURO 2024, this is an application window and not a purchase window: tickets will not be officially secured until the end of the process. Applications are also not assessed on a first-come-first-serve basis, with loyalty points instead being used to determine successful applications upon the closure of the window.

An email will be sent next week with further instructions on how to apply for tickets and use the FIFA portal.

The game will sell out one way or the other - remember all these corporate sponsors etc etc, let's say (hope) SSC get 10,000 (which is way more than some folk are reporting) then you'd imagine these will all go, then there's the many thousands who are going as it's once in a generation (was at the Norway game Bordeaux 98 and never imagined it would take 28 years to next time considering we'd qualified for 6 of the previous 7 at that point) such as my nephews who are coming with us this time, and don't forget the 1000s of folks in that part of the world (especially Canada) with Scottish ancestry.  It won't be like Germany but don't doubt Boston will be bouncing for a week!

I dont see it selling out ,  the high cost of tickets will be a major factor

dynamic pricing (can go down as well as up) will go some way to ensuring a full house

FIFA will not want empty stadiums.Ticket prices will come down for certain games.Looking at the FIFA ticketing portal €140  is the cheapest for Iran v New Zealand.

Above the 'Value' Tier. Tickets for this game are $4-500

Americans will be responsible for selling out this stadium. They will not pay this or even the $180 for Value Seats.

Hold your nerve. You will get Tickets for $60 nearer the time.

Or, use your SSC Points to get $500 Tickets to watch Haiti now.

I have 11 Points, have not appliesd to SSC for $400 tickets (I would not get Vlaue SSC Tickets) and won't even apply to FIFA for $180 Tickets.

Genuinely interested to know where you think you will be able to get $60 tickets for this match next summer? Do you believe that FIFA will not sell all tickets available and will be forced to slash the prices close to matchday to get bums on seats or are you saying that scalpers/touts who have snapped up tickets with a view to making a quick buck will have to cut their losses and sell tickets at a loss? Genuine question as you seem quite sure and I was wondering where you will be sourcing these supposed $60 tickets from? Does anyone know if there are any other FIFA sales window beyond the current PMA/RSD? This would be only in the event tickets don't sell out during this window obviously.

100% to both. My choice is, probably a $500 SSC Ticket. For that to make financial sense:

-FIFA would need to sell out of $400 Tickets (So circa 50,00 Tickets to mostly Americans) in this Sales Window for Scotland v Haiti. It won't happen

-And if that does not happen, Scalpers are going to find it very difficult to sell their tickets for a Profit.

I am very confident that I won't need to pay the $500. It's only a matter of how much I am going to save. Realistically, do I think I could get a last minute ticket on the cheap for Haiti, yes. In all probablility, I will bottle it when the price gets to $100 ish and buy 2 tickets. Morocco I have applied for $220 non SSC tickets to be safe, no way I am paying $500 for an SSC ticket. I have 4 Brazil Tickets already. $60 or $70 each. They are all accounted for. Got them in the 1st Ticket draw.

So realistically, $100 for Haiti, $220 for Morocco, $70 for Brazil. 3 Tickets, $390

Would I pay $1800 to the SSC just to be safe, WILL I FUCK!

Fifa resale price for Morocco game circa 700 quid a ticket just now for Cat 2

Tickets showing as $665 on Scalpers site now: £500

I have been tracking the prices on the FIFA Resell Marketplace thread. But I don't think much will change now until the most recent ballot results are out at the beginning of FEB.

After Feb, I reckon prices on that will rise until FIFA launch their last sales phase. Which is a free for all. But before they do, they will allow the Marketplace to do it's thing and set an expectation of prices which will be hugely inflated. FIFA will then use that to inflate the opening asking price for the last final Sales Phase.

Only after this has completed and prices have settled will we see any price reductions.

That's what I think will happen. But no doubt, soumeone else could come up with an equally plausable prediction for something else to happen?
