Maybe there will be a Jes Staley suite 🤔 Quote
Toepoke Posted December 1 Posted December 1 The cash will be handy but it sounds horrendous. The EPL will always be The Barclays IMO. Quote
saintsparky Posted December 1 Posted December 1 Maybe they could use all these millions to subsidise some of the world cup tickets...especially if we get drawn in an opening game...🤞🤞 Quote
Barney Rubble Posted December 1 Posted December 1 One nasty pro-Israeli English company. The SFA - once again taking money-grabbing insensitivity to new bounds. Quote

Scots_Wha_Hae Posted December 1 Posted December 1 Who cares? Take the money and we will all call the stadium Hampden anyway. To be honest the worst thing about this is that it didn't happen years ago, how many millions per year have we missed out on since stadium naming became common-place? Quote

Fair enough if that's your opinion. I'm unlikely to be alone in thinking that this sponsorship does not sit well at all. Quote

I am on neither side because a its far too complicated to pick sides IMO. I take you will not be going to hampden and will give up your SSC membership if you have one? Quote

Clyde1998 Posted December 1 Posted December 1 Apparently it's worth around £1m per year, which seems a bit low. Seems to be roughly the same as the Millennium Stadium's deal in Wales; although that deal was signed nearly ten years ago and must be up for renewal. I think the Aviva Stadium is sponsored for roughly £4.5m per year, although that stadium holds both football and rugby. Quote
DoonTheSlope Posted December 1 Posted December 1 Great. That’s all we need. More ambulance chasing cunts with Palestine flags protesting because it’s FuNdInG jEnOsIdE Quote
exile Posted December 1 Posted December 1 Pity there aren't really any Scottish banks left? Or Scottish businesses who'd care enough to sponsor the national stadium. The Clydesdale stadium would have a ring to it. Not sure about the Virgin Hamden, mind. Quote

Take the money, invest in better youth development programmes. Quote
