What area are people staying in Boston? Really wasn’t much choice for hotels. Ended up taking Derek Rae’s advice on twitter and booking into a hotel in Salem for both the Haiti & Morocco games. Will explore New England inbetween the games.

We're in an Airbnb in Allston, a little out from the centre but a helluva lot cheaper than some hotels and rentals I've seen!

Booked a room on the 2 game days in Providence RI. Easy access in and out of Boston and trains all day! Hotel was half the price of Boston yins as well.

Just need two tix from the SSC and I’m sorted! 🤞🏻

We are staying in Providence too.

Bloody hell had to dig deep for 8 days in Boston and a couple either side in New york but got a nice feeling now. Getting on a bit in years but can’t wait for next summer

Nice one.

The hardest part is committing sometimes, once you’re in you’re in. You’ll have the best time!

My 7 year old has recently gone football daft and was so excited about Scotland qualifying. I’ve decided to take him, my wife, and our ten year old to Boston for the Haiti game.

Staying in Brookline for three nights. A real flying visit.

Already starting to regret the vast sums of money I have thrown at this, taking account of the slim chance of tickets, the jet lag, the 9pm kick off time in the arse end of nowhere, and the fact I’ll be dragging a shattered 7 year old to my first ever World Cup.

Anyone got any kind words to make me feel better about the whole situation?!

I booked flights from Manchester to JFK when the draw was made (before venues confirmed). £600 return. Picked up a Holiday Inn Express (Quincy) 4 train stops (14 min) south of Boston city centre and only £220 per night. All in, an 11 night stay for less than £2k per person.

It is possible to find half decent prices - but takes a fair bit of research! Time and patience.

My advice would be to find somewhere on outskirts of the city and near a train line. City centre is now looking like £600 per night minimum for a hotel.

Regular commuter trains and special events trains are run for Patriots games so hoping there will be enough space on those. Otherwise it’s a £100 Uber.

Booked an airbnb beside Revere Beach which has a subway going into the city centre.

I am certain you will all be swept up in the excitement of it all and have no regrets whatsoever . Infact you probably wont want to come away ! A few days will be enough to feel involved but not long enough for your son to get fed up.
Lots of supporters take their children away , @McTeeko has been taking his son for years . You will be helping start the next generation of supporters so well done on stumping up the cash for the occasion.

Hope you have a fantastic time.
