Danes drew Belarus at home in a a pretty much must 3 point game. They leaked 2 goals. They are coming to Hampden with a mental crowd playing a side that on their day can compete with anyone.. The Danes won't be cocky, and If Clarke has any balls, he should no sit back, go right at the cunts, get the crowd bouncing like the old Hampden..

I'm confident we will be booking our ticket to the World Cup after the 90 mental minutes Tuesday night !!!

🤮

I think that, in terms of performances, this is our worst campaign since Euro 2020 qualifying, and that we have several players who are in decline without adequate replacements. However, I see stories like this and I think the stars are aligning for us.

My feelings exactly!
I think we’re gna do it and have done for a while. The thought of the £ id spunk next summer as a consequence is giving me the fear though. 🙈

That said, if Clarke persists with Souttar and Hanley we can’t possibly get away with it again can we?

Totally agree. It been a weird campaign. Even the short 4 team format has helped us, as our luck would have run out in a longer campaign. I feel we do have a performance in us, I think a more direct style would suit us in the short term. Mentally Denmark must be shattered, first goal would be huge.

Souttar and Hanley were standing outside in Copenhagen and home game v Greece.

I think McT was still on the team bus for the first 40 minutes last night. 😉 😂

There is still plenty of time for the stars to unalign and for us to mess up. Like, we could put in our best performance in the campaign until the dying seconds and concede a late goal or two. Like, our old friends 'Glorious Failure' and 'What Could Have Been' could be warming up on the touchline waiting for a late appearance.

Clarke asking for the fans to help the team at Hampden is a cracker

I am unsure about Doak but think Clarke will start him.  The only question is whether Gilmour is fit and if played, whose dropped - likely Ferguson or gilmour.

i might be tempted to go….

                                       Gordon

          Hickey            Souttar      McKenna    Robertson

        Doak                   Mcginn   Gilmour           Tierney

                                              Mct

                                              Dykes

I see it more as the fans need help from the team.

Come on lads, there are many reasons to have a go at clarke during this campaign, come out with a standard cliche about needing the fans isnt one of them.

Managers say this all the time. If ever there was a night for the hampden roar to come out again, its Tuesday

Doak will start 100%. I like Gilmour and think he'll play an important part but expect it to be from the bench. I'd be pleasantly surprised if mckenna and Dykes started.

If Gilmour is even 85% fit he must start. He is miles ahead of Ferguson and Christie. Both of whom as solid rather than good players.

Oh I know that my point is that the fans get louder when inspired by passion and great play on the pitch. In the last couple of home games there has been precious little of that. If we start like we did last night and in recent matches at Hampden there will be noise but it will be shouts of frustration

Perhaps its time for the fans to get involved regardless of what's happening on the pitch......

Yes but it is hard to do when dealt consecutive matches of real poor fair. Give us passion and good play and fans reciprocate.
