Pretty sure religion has nowt to do with it though. Just think how bad it'd be if you threw that into the mix as well! 🤣 Quote

Barney Rubble Posted September 26, 2025 Posted September 26, 2025 Auchinleck Talbot v Cumnock Juniours was a bloody good watch as a game - compare and contrast with that impostor of a local derby served up at Ibrox the other week. But not only that, it was so refreshing to hear Kris Doolan (from Auchinleck) and Billy Dodds (from New Cumnock) talk with direct experience and deep knowledge about the significance of these fixtures on the local communities. slasher Posted November 30, 2025 Posted November 30, 2025 Some draw for Auchinleck. I wonder where they will play it, Somerset or Rugby Park would make sense. Quote

exile Posted November 30, 2025 Posted November 30, 2025 56 minutes ago, Fin4ever said: Actually I thought the opposite. Looks quite a tame draw tbf. But, that just means the next round will be better. If the next round is better, it will be partly because of the tasty ties in this round. Three premiership pairings, meaning three of those knocked out and room for lower division sides. Two juniors sides with home ties. Hibs away to Neil Lennon's Dunfermline. Kelty and Spartans games will mean at least two League One (or lower) sides through. Plus Camelon Elgin will see at least one 4th+ tier side in the draw. Auchinleck Talbot v Celtic has the romance (if that's the right word) of the cup?... Quote
DoonTheSlope Posted December 13, 2025 Posted December 13, 2025 Talbot moving their tie to Rugby Park If their stadium isn’t able to host a tie then they shouldn’t be in the competition. There was no issue when they played Hearts a few years ago Quote

Talbot fans should boycott the game and let Celtic have the whole stadium, that’s all that everyone wants, they’re just a sideshow that will earn a few quid off of it. Quote
