Och Aye Posted September 19, 2025 Posted September 19, 2025 How anyone keeps their cool around that little runt is a miracle. Quote
vanderark14 Posted September 19, 2025 Posted September 19, 2025 Douglas ross is one of those few people who gets under your skin every time he opens his mouth. Genuinely surprised hes not been plugged before Quote
Malcolm Posted September 19, 2025 Posted September 19, 2025 no sympathy for him. Yes, Douglas Ross is a bit of a nob, but you can’t go assaulting folk (allegedly) Quote

Thats actually quite a sympathetic article from the BBC. They must dislike Ross even more than the SNP., Quote

kumnio Posted September 19, 2025 Posted September 19, 2025 In light of recent political events regarding violence, I think its better and safer to say nothing about Douglas Ross... Quote

vanderark14 Posted September 20, 2025 Posted September 20, 2025 (edited) Ross is the day to day equivalent of an Internet troll who spends their day winding people up but when someone challenges them they play the victim......he could be chripper 😆 🤣 The worst type of scottish person, doesnt want to his country thrive, in fact he revels in any of scotlands failures. I dont condone what Jamie Hepburn did and he was right to resign but at least it shows he has some passion, something that the SNP has been criticised for. Ross is an utter toad of a man. I think I would have done a lot more than put my hands on his shoulders and swear. His pedantry obsession about seagulls ( he is well known for this) was holding back justice reforms. It’s hardly surprising the Tories are in free fall. Quote

No the truth is out.......but it wont the reported. Thats the enemy Scotland faces every single day Quote
Toepoke Posted September 20, 2025 Posted September 20, 2025 Dougie Ross was certainly born to be a football official. Quote
scotlad Posted September 20, 2025 Posted September 20, 2025 There has been more coverage about this incident - basically a man swearing at his work colleague - than there was about a pervert installing a hidden camera in the Holyrood toilets, and indeed the subject that MSPs were attempting to discuss - the not-inconsiderable matter of removing the 'not proven' verdict from Scots law, as well as a better deal for victims of crime. Douglas Ross is an odious wee nyaff but since he's standing down next May he knows he has nothing to lose and the only power he has is to disrupt parliamentary business and wind up other MSPs. It's an appalling waste of his and everyone else's time, as well as his very decent salary, funded, of course, by those of us in Scotland who pay taxes, but he won't care, it's the only attack line he has.. Hepburn resigning is clearly an attempt to diffuse the situation but Radio Scotland apparently had Monica Lennon - Labour's Monica Lennon - blethering on about the "tone in the parliament", or some such shite. vanderark14 Posted September 20, 2025 Posted September 20, 2025 Ross is still moaning despite the guy quitting his job and personally apologising. Quote
