4 out of a possible 6 points to start the campaign, and away fae home.. Good start if I'm being honest.. We have not conceded a goal yet either.. 

Surprised with the Denmark result after them hammering Belarus, and it was in Greece.. Football is a funny game at times...😉

The Greece game at Hampden is huge. I imagine Clark will be studying the Greece-Denmark game and see how Denmark played against them. I was surprised by the result and the score.

Correct me if I am wrong but do Greece not already have the World Cup playoff as a backup via the Nations League?

That scoreline indicates we will struggle against Denmark at home, and we have no fear of Greece...

One thing is definate. If we are to qualify, we need a goalscorer..

San Marino and Moldova would get a Nations League playoff spot before Greece. Or us for that matter. The chances of Greece getting a playoff spot based on the Nations League are close to zero.

Just watched the highlights of Greece vs Denmark, the Danes played a lot of really nice quick football, impressive the way they were knocking it about, a couple of screamers, I think our point in Denmark was an extremely good one. 

It will be interesting to see which Greek team turn up at Hampden. They ripped us apart senseless in the Nations League play off, I was embarrassed watching it. If we can put in a performance and get a win it puts us in a very strong position and would put all the pressure on Greece to get something away to Denmark for the play off spot.

I think it's a case of fighting it out for 2nd place with Greece.

We did not turn up at Hampden V Greece - that much is certain. Had injuries too with Hickey and Doak out amongst others.

Well our recent qualifying matches results suggest we ain't losing in our remaining matches. Our last defeat was away to Denmark in 2021 so that is one defeat in twenty three games.

Were in a good position from first two games both very professional performances job done

Goal for next two games has to be 6 points - perhaps the Greek Danes result last night showed the point we took away from home and how we stifled them was more impressive then we though & perhaps shows the Greeks arent as good as some may think 

Were missing a goal scorer as always i think that will be our biggest challenge but we can certainly win this group

I don't see that at all. The cliché that comes to mind is "Denmark, Greece, and Scotland are all capable of taking points off each other".

Plus Denmark and Greece still have to play Belarus in Hungary and not fuck it up - we didn't.

Thanks. So according to this, we have 40% chance of coming third (the most likely position) but overall, 59% chance of finishing in the top two, hence 2nd in the (final) table? 

I know some may say that numbers can be spurious precision, but they kind of reflect the swing of opinion on here.

I agree with this. I can see us beating Greece or Denmark at home (though both games might be a stretch) but doing that and getting a point away against Greece will be too much in my opinion. I think Denmark will almost certainly end up with a better goal difference too.

 I also can't see anyone dropping points to Belarus as they're worse than I thought. This is all assuming Denmark win all their remaining matches except against us.

I think most of us would have said before the group that we had to take 4 points off Greece and 4 points off Denmark to be sure of winning the group.  The only thing that's changed is that we've ticked off one of our Danish points, and done it away from home.

It is, undoubtedly, a very tough group to qualify from, we knew that right from the start.
