Was on from 9am too but in a queue, by time got on all away.

Me too. It showed the amount of waiting time and also the amount of tickets left.
Was in to my last minute and tickets were down to 100 but sold out just before my turn. 😡😡

Sorry Guys. I posted the minute I had bought my tickets. I only saw they were selling this morning. Hopefully you get lucky with an un-used STC Ticket or getting a ticket on the street over there.

I did see you can buy a ticket on the resale sites. £140.

It's not too bad when you consider each of the tickets I just bought from the DBU Website were £75

WARNING on receipt when buying a HOME End TICKET:

Persons who show affiliation with the away team, when checking the entrance to and/or staying in other sections than the designated away team section, will have their ticket confiscated without notice or refund.

I have to say I'm a bit suspicious of the SFA.

I got 2 tickets in this morning's sale in Away section D2 (right next to our section).

They had rows of tickets, obviously deliberately unsold between Denmark and Scotland fans.  Were these offered to the SFA and they couldn't be bothered selling them officially?

Nothing that the sfa do would surprise me in the least.Always spouting all that phoney stuff about how great our fans are but whatever you do don't ask them to go into bat for us regarding tickets etc.

Row of tickets is a lot of tickets. That is very suspicious.

They were all gone when I got in though.

I probably shoulod be more specific - a few columns of tickets (from where our official section ends)

On their website it actually described it as "away D2"

Either they were leaving a large cordon and have decided that it is no longer necessary or they offered them to the SFA once we were sold out (that is standard practice).  I can't think of any other logical reason!

Wouldn't surprise anybody here if we were offered more tickets once our initial allocation sold out quickly. Also shouldn't surprise anybody if the sfa ( especially after the bollocks they made of the first sale ) would turn them down to save themselves any further possible hassle.

Look at the away section at any of our home games. There is always a segregation area with empty seats and loads of stewards.

The SSC may not be very good at managing a ticket sales app, and a few other things, but I would think it highly unlikely that they would turn down any tickets unless a safety concern.

We have got the UEFA allocation. The only reason another country would give us more was if they needed the cash. I doubt Denmark are in that position, and why would they want our team to have a boost in a World Cup qualifier?  Maybe if it was Nations League we might have got more I don't know.

Aye.but the empty seats between fans at Hampden stay empty to create a barrier between the fans. They don' t suddenly become available for purchase after the initial sale has finished.

Exactly- they sold them all on Tuesday to their own fans (well I got a couple for my mates who were unsuccessful)

Yip, I am with the SFA probably knocked back the extra tickets train of thought!

Which, if we are correct is not good. In our 1st 2 games, we are already up against it with the poor run of form we are on. More Support there would only have been a good thing!

Aye.Not good would be an understatement if they stopped Scotland supporters who would have been able to get a ticket if extra tickets had been offered to us from going .

Sure for those barriers.

But at games when Hampden may not sell out the SFA hold back blocks, more often  tha  not in the South and East stands.

Why would it be in SFA interest to turn down tickets? Has anyone asked them?

Don't understand the comparison you are making. The Danes weren't holding tickets back tickets because it wouldn't sell out.It looks like they were holding back these tickets to sell to the home support until they had offered them as extra tickets to Scotland first. That would probably have brought our allocation to the usual away allocation of 2400.As for asking the sfa i think that would be pointless. Can't see them admitting that they made a bollocks of the first allocation and to start another sale for extra tickets is just basically something that they weren't willing to do.The sfa care about...the sfa.The supporters come a poor second i'm afraid

Why would the Danes hold back say a few hundred tickets to put on sale at a later date when the game was a guaranteed sellout. Why go to the bother of that for that small amount of tickets when they would have sold out in the first sale.Surely the only reason would be that they were to be offered to us first and if not required then they would go on sale to the home support at a later date( which is what happened ).What advantage to the Danish fa would there be in holding maybe 400 or so tickets back out of the 33000 or so to sell later.Doesn't make any sense

There is absolutely not a chance the SFA turned down extra tickets for a game that sold out at 18 points. Zero.

Maybe police relaxed the segregation as there are less issues with a Scotland support than say England or Serbia for example? Maybe they only need a smaller segregation now and can now sell those tickets?

I get folk are upset at not getting tickets but if you think the SFA turned down tickets then i think you are sadly wrong (and i am often critical of the SFA)

Maybe but to think the police would make that call because it is a Scotland support seems unlikely to say the least.Where would it leave them if it did kick off.Not convinced that the sfa wouldn't turn down tickets.Suppose we will never know though.

Police have plenty of say. They rate games by level of risk.

So your suggesting the Police had Scotland as a HIGH RISK Game and it has been downgraded to a LOW RISK game?

That just does not make sense to me I'm afraid.

Nope. They'll have all games the same and assess risk nearer time for each individual game.

Makes more sense than some folk thinking the SFA knocked back extra tickets. There's zero evidence of this happening previously and plenty examples of us accepting and negotiating well above our entitlement.

Liechtenstein, Cyprus, Spain etc are three recent examples.

I have been going to away games regularly since 2002. I don't recall the SFA ever turning down tickets. Always willing to be proved wrong of course.
