Hertsscot Posted August 9, 2025 Posted August 9, 2025 Thought it would be worth opening up a thread on the Championship. St Johnstone starting well. Josh McPake MotM again. Quote
biffer Posted September 19, 2025 Posted September 19, 2025 Saints great start to the season continues. Five wins and a draw in the first six games. Quote
Hertsscot Posted September 20, 2025 Author Posted September 20, 2025 What exactly is the matter with Ross County. Many people's favourites to win the league but at this rate they're going to get relegated. Quote

Big Ramy 1314 Posted October 18, 2025 Posted October 18, 2025 Just looking through Ayr United squad. Of the 25 players listed, 20 are Scottish, and a Scottish Manager.... Not going to go through the entire Championship, but is that the norm for Scottish players in one squad in that league ??? I think it's brilliant !! The more Scots the better !!! 🏴🏴🏴 Quote

scotlad Posted April 22 Posted April 22 Simo Valakari is apparently the first non-British or Irish manager in Scotland to win promotion to the Prem. Quote
Och Aye Posted April 29 Posted April 29 Last league game on Friday night. Raith v Ross Co. Morton v Airdrie. What a ding dong at Cappielow! Best Ross Co can do now is a play off place. Quote
scotlad Posted April 29 Posted April 29 Now that is interesting. It would take a turn of events but Morton could end up relegated! The top of the table is done and dusted, with only who plays at home first between Arbroath and Dunfermline to be decided. Quote

They could've done without losing 4-0 to Ross County on Saturday anyway! A two or three goal defeat this time could see them in big trouble. Quote

exile Posted May 1 Posted May 1 Goals in the 90+6th and 90+8th minute Morton escape, Airdrie in the play-offs. Quote

First time we've finished second though, so we'll see if that helps any! 😄 Whatever happens it's been a great season for Thistle: unbeaten at home, crowds up, decent cup run, an entertaining team on the pitch. It'd be nice to have some kind of reward for that though! Quote
