I think Sinner will win it too...................the steve davis of the tennis world

The first Ladies semi final was very good, Sabalenka oot

I was in the office today so didn’t manage to catch the ladies semi finals. Had a wee feeling Anisamova would win. Swiatek huge favourite for the final though I’d say but it would be nice to see the Yank win after her personal battles.

I'd like to see Anisamova win it too but I think Swiatek will walk it, she looked extremely good yesterday

I worked late last night.........very late so I had minimal work today.................mens semi finals day 🤣

Can someone explain to me why Swiatek seems to be pronounced Swiantek, even though there's no "n" in her name? 😂

I’m sure someone from Milngavie or Anstruther will be along to explain it any moment.

Djokovic could be onto a 3-0 hiding from Sinner here.

Will be interesting to see how much longer before he retires. This match is showing that Sinner/Alcaraz are clearly well ahead of Novak now and he’s realistically needing them to have an off day if he’s to come out on top and win another major.

Enjoyed the Fritz v Alcaraz match more I think. Not that sure why, was maybe a bit more varied/unpredictable re shots and who was most impressive.

Swiatek absolutely horsed Anisamova, 6-0, 6-0

I thought Swiatek would win but not in that manner. Tough on the American but I hope she bounces back. Not nice to be demolished lack that but she got to the final and that's more than most.

Not an enjoyable watch! She looked like she just didn't want to be there.

The plebs giving the duchess of Cambridge a standing ovation was making me want to vomit

Same with Balding fawning over her talking to the folk who work at Wimbledon. It's almost like it hasn't occurred to them that it's just one glorified person talking to another person. Nodding and smiling, oh it's hot isn't it 🙄

Balding is utter garbage compared to Barker.

Not the most dramatic or entertaining final, mainly down to Alcaraz not being able to get close to the high level of Sinner.

Could be a pretty significant win for Sinner in the rivalry between the two for future years. Commentators are all commenting about how up and down Carlos gets and it’s plain to see. I guess it’s the downside of the youthful enjoyment that you see him enjoying the game, that sometimes when it’s not going well he maybe doesn’t have the focus and maturity. Kyrgios was also on a podcast the other week backing Sinner to pull ahead of Alcaraz, because Carlos likes to party and the ladies.

In contrast, Sinner just seems ice cold on the court. Definitely had the fortune of things lining up for him this tourney. Looked dead and buried until Dimitrov got injured. Played a hampered Djokovic in the semi. Then against Alcaraz who wasn’t at his best and struggling to follow up the peak of Paris.

No idea whether any one else noted but I saw that Amanda Anisimova has beaten Igor Swiatek. I'm pleased for her, she got beat 6-0, 6-0 at the Wimbledon final. A tennis court must be a very horrible place when you're getting humiliated like that.

I didnt see the match but saw the result. Always miss a lot of the US open due to the times its on

The womens draw is looking good, the crowds will be desperate for a home win i reckon its sabalenkas to lose. Osaka will bring some more attention to this draw too

The men's is going as expected but for me its Sinners tournament. Hes stepped up a gear and is slightly ahead of Alcaraz right now

She fell at the last hurdle again. Sabalenka gets her 4th slam
