Obviously, proud the way we conduct ourselves and the always positive feedback from locals. I wonder what the result of a referendum would be to disband the national team in favour of a United British team. Perhaps if another indy ref ever happens Yes should play hardball and say vote Yes to protect the national team. A No vote and the Scotland national team will be disbanded. I wonder if that would change the way some vote. After all it's a clear case of those wanting to have their cake and eat it or union and Scotland team.

I think you get about than 55% in favour of disbanding the national team after that WC performance.

But since 2014 when we qualified for nothing then we would sway more onto Yes. Those that had a thoroughly great time in the US may realise they would lose all that and be faced with Team GB to cheer on.

I go in to Hampden 5 mins after KO to avoid hearing the 90 minute Jocks sing Our National Anthem.

Other bonuses - no queues and another couple of halves in the pub 😉 but mainly the first reason!

Don't know if i'm just fed up with the lack of desire by our pro-independence politicians (no laughing at the back) to push back and aggressively campaign for Indy or I'm just getting older (61 this year)

Going back to when I was in my early teens (late 70's) I always loved the thought that our wee country was once Independent and punched well above it's weight (at times) .......... (was also proud that our national flag is possibly the oldest national flag in Europe (possibly the world) 🤣

Anyway I just can't see us achieving our Independence in my lifetime, I don't think our current lot of pro-indy politicians have the intellect, the will nor the absolute fire in their bellies to actually go for it

To use industrial language for a moment, we are being lied to and being gaslighted by a bunch of shitebag, career driven, untalented bastards

"Go for it"? What does that mean? Plebiscite election which the pro-union media won't paint as such, and risk losing control of Holyrood to unionists, supposedly furthering the cause of independence? Ok...

All applications were anonymised including location

There were 155 applications for 29 licenses, two were Scottish.

 

the process is every year and last year Scotland did get a license. 

 

The two Scottish entrants didn't rank in the top 29 of applications. which doesn't seem too fantastical.
