Is there something in rugby where it's frowned upon to question ref decisions compared to football?? Genuine question! They've not mentioned the headbutt at all or the disallowed try in the post match drivel. It's all about France being great and Scotland not converting their chances.

I'm not really a rugby man. I don't always get some of the decisions so I'm cautious about what I say but we've constantly had big decisions go against us. If it had been one of ours with the headbutt I'm certain he would have sat out the rest of the game.

Seems to be. In some ways that's good compared to the whining and whinging in football but sometimes there should be more of a spotlight on really poor decisions of which there seemed to be a few.

Very disappointing tournament with more than our fair share of decisions going against us, that was a red card in my eyes tonight. 

On the plus side some of our running rugby has been brilliant(over 1000m tonight)we just don't convert enough chances.

One of the good rules in rugby is that if players question the ref too much he will penalise them another 10 meters. Something like that would help in football. It should be only the captain who is allowed to speak to the ref. But after the game, there should be no reason why the refereeing mistakes aren't highlighted. Probably the worst ones ever was when we should have beaten Australia in the WC QF.

I thought we were the better team, but maybe I'm not giving the French defence enough credit.

I didn't think there was enough for a red card, and Kinghorn's elbow was in touch (still our man of the tournament for me).

We competed well, but did seem to fall foul too many times.

It is better not watching a game with folk surrounding the ref etc although it was kind of funny last week when Jamie Ritchie was dismissed by the ref for pointing out a rule then the TMO highlighted it too to cancel the try (albeit a good one). 

It does seem like other matches/teams are involved in endless discussions afterwards over decisions or red/yellow cards. With Scotland we're accused of being sore losers 🤔

And then there's no fuss. It was a shocking decision that still rankles. I get the feeling we're just seen as a wee nation who are 'plucky' (at best) so it doesn't matter if decisions go against us whereas if it was someone else they'd be up in arms about it. For me that decision was the Scottish rugby equivalent of Maradona's hand of God.

I dont think the SRU are held accountable enough, the support and media just don't give enough of a fuck. Too many with an "oh well you did your best" attitude......sounds familiar 

There will be some exceptions but this team is capable of more IMO. We've had some great individual results but the 6N in particular just isn't good enough

I was at the game last night. French love their Rugby. It was a red no doubt but we made some terrible decisions on the pitch as well. Felt the ruled  out try on half time was a key moment as well. Going into half time in the lead with a man advantage would have been massive.
