Second half, nul points 😖

Definitely made that more difficult than it should have been.

That phase when they were on the line for ages was frustrating as was hoping they'd pass the ball out wide.

I know, we seemed to want the heavies to do the work, if Russell had still been on the pitch I think width would have been used.

So frustrating also that Finn kicked all the conversions today, just one of those at Twickenham and we'd be going to Paris for a title decider 😕

Not sure if when he goes off it dents the team confidence or it's missing his skills that has such an impact on the performance (or both of course).

Once the subs came on the scrums and line outs became a problem.

Jordan put his hand up for the Lions, and its a shame we haven't seen more of Horne because he might be a bolter for Aus as well.

Honestly, who cares about the Lions tour, it's a load of outdated shite. I'd rather the player got the summer off to rest.

That game yesterday perfectly encapsulated Scotland under Townsend. Capable of brilliance and free-flowing rugby mixed in with long periods of frustrating play and poor decision making.

Our game management is awful. If we get a penalty in front of the posts we should just kick it. Get another 3 points on the board and move on. Concentrate on winning the ball back at the kick off, and start again. We tend to score a lot of our tries out wide, so the conversion kick is often quite tricky. We continually take the risk of going for the 5 metre lineout for the sake of the chance of getting an extra 2 (maybe 4?) points. Just kick the easy penalties. Grind the opposition down and force them to give away anther penalty. That's what we are good at. We are currently pretty good at scoring tries as well, but we shouldn't be going down the kick to touch route every time.

Totally agree, phukk the Lions.

Outdated, colonial Superiority idea.

And against any sporting principals as well.

They all probably support Scottish Independence which is why they knocked back the USRU ...

I'm not sure the team are quite as pro-union as they were once were.

It's bad enough that we know Scotland should be playing for the title tonight but jesus fuck when your luck is out it's out

France should 100% be down to 14

Dodgy ref against France last year if I remember. How on earth it is possible to deliberately headbutt an opponent and not be sent off is totally beyond me.

Every single decision going to France. WTF is the point when they make it so blatant.

I've switched it off......every time we play a higher ranked side it's the same fucking story.

France not being down to 14 should be a huge story but it won't be because it's Scotland

I'm fed up of 'playing bravely' and getting beat. Maybe we should campaign for 40 minutes games, we lack depth and struggle because other teams can put on better players in the second half.

Seemed clear cut for a change with it being obvious the other French player initiated it with his push.

Also didn't see the replay for the try being disallowed after Kinghorn's run...Would have made a difference though when the second half started.
