Anyone know what section the TA will be in. I'm not expecting tickets on 12 points so looking at sell on sites.

What's peoples view on sitting in the home end ? I have done this at Ireland, Seville, Moldova and Krakov (Ukraine game) These were all full of TA, but not sure for Greece.

According to my Google AI assistant .... blocks 26 and 27.

Given the relative lack of interest on here (and i am told on FB etc) you might have a decent chance on 12 points.

My boy was in Athens last year, and passed near the basketball stadium. He said the riot cops were out in force keeping people apart... that may just be normal police attire though! But might mean being a bit more circumspect if going in home end.

then again there was this in November..

but we don't carry their reputation.

No chance in the home end.  I went to a Panathinaikos game last year and you need a ticket on a government app to get in.  To use the app you need to register with your Greek ID, or use your passport if you’re not Greek, which is obviously gonna scupper you.  And the passport doesn’t even work properly so I had to show my passport at the gate.  On top of that there were two separate barriers to go through that were more like airport security and riot police everywhere.

Like you, I’ve been in the home ends in Ireland, Norway and Netherlands no problem, but not a chance you’d get in in Greece.  And if you did, you’d probably be desperate to get out again once their Ultras notice you.  🤪

As others have said, the home end would be a definite no.

Im down to 18 points now, it looks like only 22 points and above will be guaranteed a ticket for this game. But there seems to be very little interest in this game strangely, so im hoping that I will get a ticket.

Bit of a meh game (Nations League Playoff to stay in A), leave rinsed with the Euros, money ringed from the Euros and we are playing there again later in the year in an actual qualifier will have all contributed.

Fingers crossed as me and the old man are booked up and currently sit on 20 points.

I see the members details in your SSC account have a box for passport details "Required for Greece v Scotland". So at least they have been presumably talking to the Greek FA about tickets and haven't totally forgotten about it!

Thought that was likely to happen. For Cyprus away their FA printed your Passport number on the tickets and you had to show your passport with the ticket as you went in.

We never got asked, I used someone else's ticket and never had my passport with me.  Got straight through no issue's at all.

I’m sure I’ve mentioned here before - I had to show my passport and matching ticket to a guy with a submachine gun to get into Panathinaikos game last year.  Just a warning.

It’s hit and miss.

went to a Lazio v Fiorentina game and we needed named tickets with ID.

Did Hungary in 2018 not check everyone’s details?

id imagine Greece will be hot on it with their club fans being mental.

Anybody know where to buy a ticket for the home end? I had a quick look see and read something that stated 'the Hellenic Football Federation has renewed its partnership with Ticketmaster.gr for the purchase of national team tickets'.

Is that the only option then? Has anybody actually acquired a home ticket yet?
