If I had known a quiz would get you back  I wouldn’t have waited till week 433 to start the thread .
17 is good . Everyone guesses . Without guesses I would have probably got 9. 

If I could be arsed I would start a wee league table but folk will probably be bored within 3 weeks. 

Any good TV shows to recommend whilst you are here ?

I don’t have many (any!) talents but I am quite good at quizzes and retaining utterly useless information about trivial subjects!!

Never listened to it. There's something about Radio Clyde that makes me want to drive a fork through my eyeball!

Mrs F keeps trying to get me to apply to go on Countdown but if I’m going on a quiz show I want it to be one where I can win money!

What about applying for Pointless? I quite enjoy that, partly because Alexander Armstrong is likeable alongside the reverse Family Fortunes premise.

I didn’t go away, it just seemed like the board had gone down. Nothing new showing, even when I tried on computer and not phone. It wasn’t until I wasn’t connected to WiFi that it suddenly appeared and I saw that people had been posting for weeks. After another week or so it came back when I was connected to WiFi. I think Fringo has had similar problems.

Nothing really that hasn’t already been mentioned. I quite liked Day of the Jackal but it went off the boil. Bad Sisters was ok but went on a bit too but I’m about to try season 2. Tried Patience which looked like it could be decent but wouldn’t recommend it. Gave up on Squid Games 2 after 2 episodes.

Best thing I watched was Storm for Christmas and was going to suggest that but couldn’t log in. Now Christmas has gone it’s probably lost its appeal.

Reading this back doesn’t sound too positive. Happy new year everyone! 😄

😂 I can understand your feelings towards Radio Clyde though I do like George Bowie . I used to have it on in the mornings when driving to the train station. Depending on what time I started I would catch the 5k minute, its on at 8.10 am every day. Its good, particularly if the contestant is close to winning. 

Here is an example of a question set ( dont look! )  Time yourself and get Mrs F to read the questions. Has to be done in a minute. Unsurprisingly 😁

My brother and his pal ( coincidentally the one who posts the Friday quiz on the group chat) auditioned for that years ago. They were auditioned in London. They thought they did well as they were given all the signals that they would be called back,  but never were.

Has to be Ant and Dec’s Limitless Win. Thats a great quiz . Its for 2 people. Stupid questions that anyone could have a go at, though you need a basic general knowledge to answer questions at the start to build up lives. 

Its a good format, having to answer questions like how many cheese triangles are there in a packet of dairylea and how many claps and stomps are there in the intro of We Will Rock You. If you go over the correct amount you are out. If you guess too little you lose lives. If you guess the exact amount you bank the cash and move up the ladder. Its a bit like Who Wants to be a millionaire in as you can lose the lot if you gamble on a question you are not sure about and use up all your lives.

Thats strange, I get the occasional time the board says there is a problem but its not often. Maybe its because I am never signed out , I just have an internet page opened on my phone constantly. 

I just could not get into Bad Sisters at all, kept going back to it but I had absolutely no interest in what happened to any of them so gave up 😁

Havent started Squid Games 2 yet but sounds a bit disappointing.

Ok, full disclosure - I read through them myself as other half is at work, and got 10/10.  First one was a guess and no.8 I only know as heard it on another quiz last week!  There's also a fair chance I wouldn't have pronounced the answer to no.6 correctly and I definitely wouldn't have spelled it correctly!  Obviously hard to tell reading them yourself but I'd be relatively confident in doing them in under 60 seconds!
