To be clear, I wouldn't propose putting McTominay in as a striker but he with many accounts is not wrong that the two he got in his last game for Napoli were strikers' goals.

Not sure how you can say this unless Adams one day decides to drop to the SPFL whilst in his prime. Shankland in a top flight has only had two good seasons since he came on to the scene in the lower leagues. Out with his two good seasons with hearts, his prolific seasons were in the Scottish Championship or lower

He's also done it for Scotland on occasion (e.g. Georgia away). He lacks pace and athleticism which is probably what helfd him back. That and perhaps a bit of an attitude.

To be honest, the evidence for Adams not being a natural finisher is usually right before our eyes when he plays for us.

Tonighy Lewis-Skelly is a midfielder. Playing at left back. Jurrien Timber is a centerback. Playing at right back.

Scott McTominay is a no 8. Doesn't mean he's not flexible.

Nobody is saying he's not flexible, he has played plenty positions for Scotland. 

What you can't get through your thick skull is that the majority think his best position is the one he is playing. That's why he is playing there for club and country and that's why you are a sad act who checks when folk log in to forums, count who posts when and how often and has changed their username more times than they've had the balls to talk to folk in real life.

What a difference for McTominay since he’s started being played in his best position. He was playing there for Scotland and then for a bit for Man Utd towards the end, but this is the first full season where he’s played there and look at the results. I thought it’d be Gilmour that’d really thrive at Napoli and wasn’t sure about McT, but he’s been brilliant.
 

Gilmour’s done fine, but hopefully he’ll get more chances next year with more games and possibly even one or both of Anguissa and Lobotka leaving.

Looking for advice on getting tickets for napoli home games. It looks like you need to purchase a fan card for 20 euro and then use your fan number to buy tickets on the napoli website. Does anyone know if you recieve your fan number via email as soon as you purchase the fan card? Don't really have time for it to arrive from italy so was going to request it be sent to the hotel but would need the number before the tickets sell out. Any help appreciated - thanks.

There‘s a link on the Napoli website to P1 tickets, who presumably handle most of their sales to outside of Italy. Purchased one from P1 for the Verona game in January. Ticket received as pdf 3-4 days before the game. No need for a fan card, but you do have to show an ID-Card or passport at the ticket check.

Thanks, I saw that but was hoping to avoid paying the premium as prices have rocketed for the final games on P1 as you would expect.

Four of us attended the Hellas Verona match back in January.

I wasn't too keen on going the P1 Travel route because I wanted more control over where we sat.

We held off and waited for the normal sale, but 1) there weren't many blocks available and 2) we needed to be members.

IIRC, they post your membership to you and that's what killed that option for us (there just wasn't enough time).

 

In the end, we went with P1 Travel and I can say in hindsight, it was a good decision.

We received the tickets by email nearly a week before the match and we got in without any problems.

P1 Travel offered 3 categories of ticket. We went upper tier without hospitality.

Re accommodation...

For sights, you'll want to visit Centro Storico and Quartieri Spagnola districts, but the area just west of Chiaia metro station was most definitely the nicest area I spent time in.

If for any reason you wanted to stay out by the stadium, the area immediately south-east of the stadium was okay too.

I got them through a third party easy enough In August. 

A few of TAMB have used same guy since with no issues.

Yes, the same guy seems pretty helpful. Reasonable prices compared to other 3rd party sites. Hoping to make it to the final game, fingers crossed its still all to play for. Thanks all for the info.

Sorry, just seen this. Aye, as mentioned above we used P1 Travel for Napoli in December. Can’t mind what we paid but it wasn’t extortionate. Can guarantee they’ll be pricey now though as they get nearer to (hopefully) clinching the title.

It was a great service though with various option and choice of seats 👍🏼
