I've noticed McTominay didn't get a nomination for BBC Sports Personality - but two England women's footballers did. I think there's only been two Scottish nominations since Andy Murray won it in 2016 - Eve Muirhead and Elise Christie.

We need a BBC Scotland Sports Personality award.

We dint need it all. It’s just a pro England w**kfest and I’ll bet Mctominay wasn’t even their thought process for the nominations because he’s not English.

I imagine a BBC tv programme featuring meaningless comparison between racing drivers and darts players wasn't in McTominay's through process either.

Came across this article on McTom. 

Lots of it is true but I am sure he didn't give a toss about a nomination.

Just back from Sorrento and confirm the do indeed love him.  Napoli tops everywhere in that part of the world and only 2 names on the back of them, De Bruyne and McTominay and I'd say it was probably 70/30 in favour of McTominay.  Talking to a few locals who were saying that Italians (although I guess they probably meant in that region) will all be supporting Scotland in the World Cup due to him!
