Public transport to Hampden

What's the best shout these days from central Glasgow? Used to walk from Shawlands after parking up or have been on supporters bus from Dundee. Join the queue for Mount Florida and return from Central? Or as quick looking at a bus route to Shawlands or along Victoria Road? Sore back and 2 kids in tow 😂

I know it's a bit late now but for future reference the x31 Hampden Express is a decent option.

X31 Hampden Express is not running for the Croatia game. 

I get a Citylink from Edinburgh to Buchanan St bus station so I will just wing it from there to Hampden via a couple of beer stops and get the train from Mount Florida back to Central after the game.
