AlfieMoon Posted July 30, 2024 Posted July 30, 2024 Wondering if anyone has any experience of buying tickets for games in Holland. Or maybe from the recent friendly in Amsterdam - I seem to remember folk having a problem that a Dutch bank account is needed to buy tickets? If so, was there a workaround? I’m trying a test run of buying Go Ahead Eagles tickets but stuck because I don’t have a Dutch bank. Revolut is one of the options but it recognises it’s tied to another country. Quote
Dangerous Posted August 1, 2024 Posted August 1, 2024 (edited) Alfie, I think that the case is all fans need to registered to a club before buying tickets - quite common for a number of European leagues. From your message it appears this may have changed to bank account but hope not as hoping to do a Netherlands trip later in the season. Done a couple of multi game trips over a weekend and they are a great experience. EDIT - just checked and it looks like Utrecht and Sittard will let me buy with VISA and Mastercard so maybe just an Eagles thing or are you maybe not registered with Eagles? Johnnyshaker Posted November 26, 2024 Posted November 26, 2024 Me and my mate are going next week to PSV v Twente on the Friday night, PSV do tourist packages which they hike up a little bit. We did Feyenoord last year on a Thursday night and I could buy on their site no problem. We're there till Sunday night, heading to Monchengladbach on Sat for their game v Dortmund. So far so good. Was trying to get a ticket for a Sunday game but not much doing, it appears to be impossible to get tickets for Willem II Tilburg. Quote
