The stadium is walkable from there too (2km) across the big bridge. I've been to Warsaw many times, but never used the metro. Apparently there is a metro station at Nowy Swiat, which can take you direct to the stadium. I'll probably bang the drum for this nearer the time too, but I urge anybody with any interest in football culture to visit the bar at KS POLONIA WARSAW. A proper fans bar at the oldest football club in Poland. Based on past experiences, the Tartan Army will be made very welcome. And the warmth of welcome by the club was a world away from the cold-as-f*cking-ice people at Legia. The Polonia stadium is located just north of the old town (opposite the Ibis Stare Miasto). Follow this route from the old town square and it will take you past some striking murals on Konwiktorska street. Sometimes they refer to the football club; sometimes to the Polish Resistance and Uprising. Then go through the main gates, past the fountain, in the front door and turn left 🍺🍺🍺 Perfect, much appreciated. Quote
