Aye it's a funny old game.  Watched the highlights of the OF game yesterday.  Looked as if Rangers could have won (again).  But Celtic just have that knack of not playing that well but always managing to get the win.  That's football for you.  Why we still love it.

No, we fuckin own you. Men against boys. Enjoy winning absolutely fuck all again...  Glasgow's Green and White !!!!

Bobby Madden can’t handle the scrutiny reffing matches in England, bit of a shock to him after all his years in Scotland getting away with blatantly rangers biased decisions week in week out, he wasn’t called Madhun for nothing.

To be fair to madden the English system sounds bizarre to me and he also had to deal with an in incident where a club official allegedly made a discimatory remark against him. See below

The English system means there’s nowhere for incompetent/biased referees to hide unlike our system which has very little openness, Madden and others have hidden behind the curtain of secrecy that is in place in Scottish football for donkeys years.

Refs get slated all over the world.  Scottish refs are no different.  Time to support them and not slag them off.

I was giving the wider context of why madden is retiring early. The scrutiny contributed to it but so did the lack of support from colleagues when he tried to report something

Well !!! If you think VAR is bad in Scotland, you should have seen the disaster in the English premier league yesterday. West Ham and Arsenal robbed, and I mean robbed. Watching Skye sports just now and the panel talking about it. How the refs did not give 2 penalties is shocking.. I could not believe it.... VAR is a joke, not just in Scotland.....

Just watched the vardict on BBC Scotland, they looked at incidents in Hearts v Celtic, Motherwell v Killie, St Johnstone v D Utd and Ross C v Livi games but for some strange reason unless I missed it they never looked at the Goldson penalty incident with Duk, anyone else feel there’s something very wrong the vardicts omission.

That’s because VAR wasn’t needed.

That’s because var wasn’t allowed more like, at the very least it was a foul started outside but finished inside the penalty box but you guys wouldn’t recognise a penalty against Rangers it’s been that long since one was given.

Put the rod away.

If a defender starts holding an attacker outside the penalty area and continues holding inside the penalty area, the referee must award a penalty kick.

Under VAR rules that means the it could not get involved as neither a free-kick nor a spot-kick was awarded.

What are these VAR rules?  A guy got sent off at the weekend when everyone knows he shouldn't have been.  It was VAR that got him sent off, game over and Hearts maybe could have got a draw.  Another case of an appeal which they will surely win.  But too late for the result of the game.

What is your source for the above?
