So I checked out North Sea gas, who are not bad, and ended up stumbling onto these lads.. Quality.. Never heard of then before. THis thread is turning out exactly the way I had hoped. There must be 100s Scottish folk bands I've never heard of out there..🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿  🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳

If you like them, you will love Tide lines

Same singer, handsome bugger that he is.

'Far side of the world' is my favorite.

Gee it a wee listen

Don't know how to paste here.👍

https://youtube.com/playlist?list=RDEMVMqAydWAkKBU2Hj1Gte4Pw&playnext=1. Don't know if this works. It's Tide Lines. They are very good mate. Lead singer sounds like Donnie Munroe from Runrig...

No longer the same singer. Robertson used to be in Skipinnish but that's no longer the case, he's just fronting Tide Lines. Both bands are very good live. I've seen Tide Lines a few times and finally got round to seeing Skipinnish last year.

It’s got to do with the fact that they’re related.

This thread is about music. There are plenty other threads for politics.

Unfortunately he didn't live long enough to get to vote in the referendum. It's hard to believe it's over ten years since he passed away. He is still sadly missed.

Quite enjoying them both. Working on my new folk Playlist..

Good stuff, I used to see NSG every summer when we went to the Coylumbridge. Thats where my love for folk music started, every summer at my grans timeshare and there would be a different band/singer every night.
