He was the best of the 3 CBs against Armenia and was bizarrely the one dropped of the 3 for Ireland. Hendry was then poor and atleast partially at fault for 2 Ireland goals. Blantyre_Braveheart
Hanley lucky that wasn't caught. He was nearly ripping the lads shirt off when Armenian were through again.
COLT NY
Hendry's having an absolute shocker of a performance here. He's all over the place. Hanley too. If nothing else, this series of games should at least have made one thing clear. Our best defensive three is Souttar, McKenna and Tierney. Hard to believe how different Armenia look just one week later. How we're on level terms here is beyond me. We've been on the ropes almost the whole half. Clyde1998
Fantastic goal. Hopefully we can go on and get an early goal in the second half and kill this off.

Hertsscot
I would like to publicly apologise to Stuart Armstrong for thinking he wasn't international class. Sorry.
COLT NY
We've totally got out of jail here, but credit to them for taking chances for once. Armstrong is much better when he starts the game than when he's thrown on as a sub.
Blantyre_Braveheart
This will turn out an easy win but it should in no way excuse another absolutely dreadful performance up until that sending off.
runningtings
Armstrong absolutely carrying us here, we look so bad at the back we will probably need another couple of goals.
Caledonian Craig
The massive problem so far has been the defence. Shocking. Attack-wise it has not been too bad.

Orraloon
Armstrong is obviously our best player so far tonight, but still a lot of our moves break down when he gets the ball. If he could retain possession a wee bit better, when the fancy pass isn't on, he could be a fantastic player. Did half the team wear gutties tonight? I'm assuming they didn't expect any rain? Get the big studs in for the second half lads.
