Ireland putting up a far better fight against Ukraine than we did. There is little between the 2 teams. A think we really want a draw here.

They seem very happy to soak up pressure and look for chances on the counter attack. We're not particularly good at either.

TBF all teams in Nations League sections should be well matched.

England an obvious exception 😄

No we aren’t. In the off chance that our defence actually clear the ball our counter attack gets as far as the halfway line then the ball is back to our defence who are not so successful the second time ..

😂

You would think the teams should be evenly matched but our group would suggest otherwise.

England's worst home defeat since lost 5-1 to us in 1928. 🤣

England fans singing "you don't know what you're doing" to the manager who's got them to a World Cup semi and a Euro final in the last four years. 😂

That is utterly mental.  Try being fookin Scottish. 🙄

Not a bad night for us at all. Next 2 games are crucial. We can really set ourselves up and hopefully some players back from injury.

For certain - 6 points for our next two home games and then eek out a draw away to Ukraine would do it.  Its a big ask though.

Funnily enough, no one on the commentary team who has mentioned that statistic has said who it was they lost to. 🤭

Aye, they've short memories. Southgate has achieved more with that team than any manager since Alf Ramsey. But 4-0 at home to Hungary - jeezo, I'd be pissed off if that happened to us!

There will always be a few outliers due to promotions and relegations and the natural cycle of international squads.

Was looking at the other league groups. Serbia, Sweden and Norway are in the same group, they would all probably be favourites to win any other group.

Any excuses offered by the pundits for England's walloping?  Was the grass too wet, too dry, too long, too short, too green...?

Why the fck did I no watch it?

A lot of moaning about the sending off even though they were losing 2-0 at the time. Dare I sing it: 'Going down , going down, going down.'

They're hilarious. I watched the Italy game on Saturday and it was, "Yes you can see that was a clear yellow card..." after a foul by an Italian player, shortly followed by, "There didn't look like much contact there..." after a similar one by Grealish.  Gotta love them.

There's no doubt they've got a talented group of players at the moment unfortunately.  Not the best lot they've had though.  The worry is they'll get a competent manager who knows how to best use them.

They were actually 3 down when Stones was sent off so have absolutely no excuse in terms of the dodgy second yellow.
