He looks quality the highlights I have seen. League one though.

His performances and stats indicate that he can and will be playing at a higher level, how high? I think he will be in the Premiership in a couple of seasons. Are we going to wait until then before we call him up when it’s pretty obvious that he is a player? Especially, considering it’s one area of the park where we don’t have an abundance of options.

Suspected broken jaw for Callum McGregor tonight! The form debate over McTominay may be irrelevant if McGregor doesn't recover swiftly. We're only 2 months away from the playoffs. Although you'd hope he'd be back by then, he'll miss a lot of football, as well as his confidence potentially being affected.

Probably 2 months out. Hopefully Gilmour is back from his injury in time.

Looks like injuries have ruined Jacks career. Shame.

It is a shame. Our midfield worked well with him in it; his defensive style could have been an excellent foil for Gilmour.

Seems that Hickey played at right back for Bologna this weekend

He did, and he did okay. Didn't do too much going forward but he defended well.

I reckon he looked less comfortable there than he does playing LB but not as uncomfortable as Robertson when he attempted to play there against Denmark.

Yep, I agree.
Unfortunately picked up a yellow though so misses next game for Bologna (not sure when the next game is after that?)

You mean no danger of not making squad? Armstrong was injured early season but has started last few games since coming back to full fitness. Playing right now (from the start)

Yes of course that's what I meant about McTominay. The main point of starting this thread whilst there is long gap between games is determining whether some of the squad are doing enough to stay in (other than getting an injury) or whether there are others that might be playing well enough to get in to the next squad. Armstrong has only started 3 games all season and been sub in other appearances so might be one place where other options may be worth a shout. Quite a few names have been mentioned already.

Jacob brown seeing a little too much of the bench to be included next time.

His inclusion in the first place was a bit odd tbh.

Given lack of game time and form you’d think Ralston, SOD, Brown & Nisbets places would all the up for debate

Wasn't there a few suspensions and injuries so room for a new cap?

Certainly potential for one or two changes. Reckon Armstrong's lack of game time could be up for replacement also.

Well Stuart Armstrong seems to have picked up a good spell of form in a timely manner and Adams is knocking a few in. Despite the awful situation at present, assuming the game still goes ahead (no means certain) there are only a few places that might be available

Keeper - Marshall maybe getting his place back?

Defence - Replacement for Cooper if he doesn't return from injury

Midfield - one from McLean, Turnbull, Ferguson or Fraser (if he grovels to get back in)

Forwards - barring injury it should be Adams, Dykes, Christie and Brown
